Hi please can i join in.

HI to everyone on here !! sorry for everyone who has mced, will try to keep up but things move really quickly on here.

I am not sure if there is a list goin but i have started trying and am cycle day16 of approx 28 day cycle. cycle 2 since mc

I posted on here about 5 weeks go but was away with my mum who constantly wanted to know what i was doing with the computer. Angry so never really got started.

i have a dd nearly 10, a ds 8 months old (ivf) and fell pg when he was 5/6 months only for it to go. i thought it was my miracle ( you all know the story - the girl that got pg after ivf and everything was perfect) but i mced pretty quickly.

i now have obsessive compulsive disorder with a desire to conceive. a SIL who is pg and i cant believe that lightning will stick twice with such luck so am falling into the moments of lets try lets try !!! and its never going to happen. sorry for the rantingSad

xx

Hi pv hope your friend's ok.

was that a sneaky BFP?!! Xx

tigger15 · 25/08/2010 22:08

Pinkie - I met someone the other night who had a dc by ivf after about 10 years including one mc on ivf. She then conceived naturally after birth of dc and miscarried that one. She then conceived naturally again and now has 2 dcs. So there is hope... although she was convinced the way to go about it is give up hope i.e. she gave away all maternity clothes and baby things etc and accepted it just wasn't going to happen.

PinkFondantFancy · 25/08/2010 22:10

Hi Nickster and Pinkie, sorry you're here but glad you've joined us, it's a lovely supportive place to be while you're ttc.

Arghghg the suspense - I can't take this level of stress!! Plus I am so going to get the sack for checking this thread every 5 mins to see how the testers are going.... Mrs PV I sooo hope your little pot of pee is a lucky pot!! Sorry to hear about your friend, hope she's doing ok.

tigger15 · 25/08/2010 22:20

I just found a great poem on the poetry thread which I think I'd like for my motto. Must put this on a card and carry it around with me. I hope everyone else enjoys.

If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not you don't
If you'd like to win, but think you can't
It's almost certain you won't

If you think you're losing, your lost
For out in the world we find -
Success begins with a persons will
It's all in the state of mind

If you think you're outclassed you are
You've got to think high to rise
You've got to be sure of yourself
Before you can ever win a prize

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or fastest man
But sooner or later the one who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.

hairytriangle · 25/08/2010 22:26

Love that tigger. Going to print it out and stuck it up.

Pv hope you are ok. What news???!!???!!!

wave to all...

took possession of my small, damp smelling, frankly not very clean rental today... enjoying being back in my lovely house for the evening but only for another 36 hours... much more packing, shifting, and cleaning tomorrow... it'll all be worth in the end

MamaPower · 25/08/2010 23:05

Hi and welcome Pinkie, sorry you are joining the gang...it's a damn fine gang though :)

LadyBee · 25/08/2010 23:27

Hi have just managed to read through two days posts and am thrilled to see Viv's news! How wonderful, I'm completely chuffed for you m'dear Grin

PV sorry to hear about your friend's loss, it sounds like she's really needing your help. I've got my fingers crossed it works out well for you too this month, but if it does, don't run away too quickly will you, I'll miss your slightly cryptic posts.

Am completely knackered from our day trip to Paris yesterday - it was wonderful and our lunch was amazing, so all the planning and organizing was definitely worth it, but can hardly keep eyes open any longer and must shuffle off.

PrettyVacant1 · 26/08/2010 06:38

I am such a muppet!
Sorry to be keeping you in suspenders still.
When I said testing, I meant testing to see if my phone would post. D'oh.
Sorry my bad.
Still no news though, I'm feckin' bored of this now.
Looks like my bod has decided to shift to 29-30 days for some unknown reason.

Hey to Pinkie welcome back, stick around for a bit this time, not too long though. Smile and Nickstermum welcome to our little corner, if you have chocolate, that's a good start.
How can you only eat one piece?

Morning All,

pv i am newly back and the suspense of your test brought me staight online this am. It all sounds very positive the last few days on the thread.

Just discovered that dd's swim teacher is pg but sooooo pleased for her she been trying for 2 years and was a month of going to ivf clinic.

nickstermum v hard to keep up, but hi and thanks for all the welcomin.

tigger15 you are so right all my maternity stuff is either at the charity shop or in the loft. DS's crib which lives at my mums ( all babies in family have been in it since my bro was born) has been given back to her to keep so am trying to not get ocd but VVVVV hard.

Have got one stick left from stash from recent mc so guess after use that this month it will have to be an effort to go buy one to see whats going on.

Morning everyone! Hehe I am liking the fact that everyone else on this thread is a complete chocoholic too!! I've been trying to be good but the fact that I've found a hotel chocolat round the corner from work could be a prob!!

There's still time then mrspv going to continue to keep everything crossed, even though it's starting to make my extremities go numb!!

Yay for loopy really hope the line gets stronger for you over the next couple of days.

Hehe nickster I had exactly the same with the boobs, at least on the positive side the scary blue veins have disappeared too! Not for long I hope..

PinkFondantFancy · 26/08/2010 08:14

Also who's in charge of the aquarium at the moment?? I have convinced myself my boob hurts and I feel sick which is plainly ridiculous.....
