so last night me and DH were "together" for the first time in like ever... (im finding it very hard to let go enough to do that)

anyway afterwards i burst out crying... what is wrong with me???? im even embarrassed to be writing this here but surely there is something wrong with me!

Hug from me too sarahmia-it's completely understandable. Maybe it'll be easier now that the first is over? You shouldn't be embarrassed about crying as I've read that is quite common that it brings back memories and emotions of mc.

babe similar conversations happen regularly in the iced cake household too... Mmm Noah... At least it distracts me from the 2 days into the 2ww symptom spotting temporarily!!

I hope thatthatlady is ok, haven't seen her for a while. Am excitedly keeping fingers crossed for those at the top of the list!!

Hahaha I'm keeping my head down, trying not to get my hopes up in any way whatsoever.

This morning's temp - 36.96...

and i in no way whatsoever have peed on an opk as it was the only thing in the house only for it to come up positive thus leaving me frantically googling all day whether these are reliable indicators of pregnancy

Viv, sounding extremely hopeful. OPKs will show positive with either LH or HCG, ie for either ovulation or pregnancy, however (since I did same as you when 4wks pg with current bean) I was warned on another thread that occasionally you can get an LH surge before RTD arrives.
But it's looking very good. Get yourself out and buy a clearblue!!! Will be on tenterhooks till you report back!!

Seriously though - AF due tomorrow so plan to test in the morning. Still terrified this is my body being the ultimate wind-up merchant, as it has been oh so many times in the past. Fingers crossed...

Have acupuncture this evening and am going to ask her to do something to stop me being so sad and weepy!!! I'm not sure if it's pmt, disappointment at not being duffed, or carry over from the ectopic, or just plain beating myself up for burying my feelings for so many years, and only now at 42 allowing my feelings about really, really wanting a child out.

thank you everyone for all your lovely thoughts. ERPC was necessary in the end as had only had light bleeding... all went well, was in exactly the same bed as my first ERPC, and realised as I lay there that is is exactly one year to the day since my first MMC was confirmed at my 13 week scan... so exactly one year of sadness and worry and obsession and knicker-checking and timing SWI ( never more than every other day though ).... Cried a lot when came round in recovery and when back on the ward. But feel ok now.

viv you big tease!! Buy yourself a pee stick immediately :) and I agree that pv's behaviour is becoming increasingly suspicious...

hairy excellent plan with the acupuncture. I've started visiting a reflexologist that specialises in fertility and I feel like seeing her has really helped me get into a good place mentally. If you're based in herts I'd definitely recommend her.

jolls hope you're doing ok and that you are heartily tucking into some major comfort food right now.
