My 14 year old dd is bizarrely delighted by her 10 (count them) 10 pairs of socks! She got a pair of slipper socks from the Pyjama Fairy, a pair of cahsmere bedsocks from Father Christmas, 4 pairs of Pringle socks from her Great Aunt, and 2 separate packs of 2 pairs of multi coloured wellie socks from different relations. We are seeing more people today, and she is hoping for still more socks! She gave all her school frienda fluffy socks full of biscuits - it's obviously the in thing this year!

For DS (3yrs) it was his aquadraw, a Thomas the Tank interactive book, and Peppa Pig phonics game. I have not seen him without at least one of those three since Christmas Day.

DD (6) got a wii as her main present and is totally delighted except that she has to keep reminding us that it is "her" wii as we all fight to play with it!

She got an ipod touch off the in-laws. I was sceptical but it has also been a great success. I've loaded it with her choice of music off itunes, a couple of games and all the family photos. We don't have wi-fi (yet) so the main part of it's use is unfulfilled but probably for the best at the moment.

The box our wine was in! Seriously, she spent hours today playing with it, putting things in and shaking/dragging it.

She loves boxes. We actually bought her one for christmas(we did put things in it though!).

Started a thread in chat about this, but, never mentioned what toy it was.

I bought a set of heely things you strap on the heels of your shoes {got wheels on} can't think what they're called.

When I gave them to my friends grandaughter she was so delighted with them she wanted to pay me a tenner for them.

So cute.

DS (22 m) loves his 'Tommy Train' (tiny Thomas Tank Engine that whistles and chuffs) bought off ebay at half RRP. Has totally disregarded large posh tractor and wheelbarrow that PIL got him, or the other things he had from us, in favour, as ever, of small toy he can carry around with him. Will we ever learn??
