My 14 year old dd is bizarrely delighted by her 10 (count them) 10 pairs of socks! She got a pair of slipper socks from the Pyjama Fairy, a pair of cahsmere bedsocks from Father Christmas, 4 pairs of Pringle socks from her Great Aunt, and 2 separate packs of 2 pairs of multi coloured wellie socks from different relations. We are seeing more people today, and she is hoping for still more socks! She gave all her school frienda fluffy socks full of biscuits - it's obviously the in thing this year!

dd1 - roller skates and guitar, yes at the same time until we pointed out the fatal flaw in her plan...ie she would hurt herself

dts - vtech walker...only bought the 1 as we don't have the biggest house in the whole and they have done nothing but fight over it...so unfortunately I think we will have to bite the bullet over the next few days...

Ds (5) Playmobil police headquarters. Closely followed by a Darth Vader costume.

The Playmobil police car and jewel thieves arrived today (I'd got all the Playmobil stuff and gave it to grandma to give to ds and she'd forgotten!).

Police car last seen being driven away at high speed from the police station by the robbers!

It's hard to tell what the favourite is going to be out of the big things as got a lot of lego and playmobil from other people which has all been played (though I quite like the pirate ship!)

The single thing he was probably spent the most time with is a Star Wars annual I picked up for 99 pence!

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 26/12/2009 22:13

DD1 was a sylvanian house and family and furniture.

DD2 a butterscotch pony, 3ft fur real pony which she has constantly sat on and chatted to since yesterday breakfast time.

DD3 a new dressing gown which my parents bought her.

DD4 anything that was bought for her siblings as she has completely ignored all of her own gifts

MrsMorgan · 26/12/2009 22:22

Dd1 - Retro style roller boots

Dd2- It's too close to call between roller blades and a big cuddly minature schnauzer.

Ds - Star Wars truck and Star wars ship thingy.

Remote control cars and a walkie talkie that DS insists I talk to him on whilst he goes to the toilet.

Too early to say with DD.

lilolilmanchester · 26/12/2009 22:28

Regardless of all else in this house, DS (16) LOVES his "Mock the Week" book (50p from car boot but like new); DD -12- loves canvas paint blocks plus paint (£5 all in). Not the main presents for either but definitely the favourites and HOURs of entertainment. just shows....

PoppyIsApain · 26/12/2009 22:31

My ds has 3 very loved so far,
His take along thomas carry case almost ful of take along thomas trains
His disney cars board book that has a mega sketcher thing attached
His fisher price piggy bank

He is very cute studying his toys

CardyMow · 27/12/2009 13:17

DD 11yo - Bright pink mini fridge and bubble gum machine.

DS1 7yo - Club penguin card-jitsuu cards, go-go's and ferarri lego set ( traitor, I'm a Mclaren fan...)

DS2 6yo - 20Q and go-go's (I bought each child a full box of them!).

Am now trying to dodge the 10,000 go-go's that seem intent on embedding themselves into my bare feet as the DC's go-go pots aren't big enough!!

becklespeckle · 27/12/2009 13:44

DS1 (9.5) - Lego

DS2 (6.11) - Lego

DD (1.11) - Colouring pencils and her "pia-nano" (keyboard from ELC)

DS (nearly 5) his Deluxe Omnitrix (although he's already managed to break one of the internal switches so it's stuck on Heatblast) and Humungosaur figure.

DD (21 months) this doll aka Lolly (she can't say "Dolly") who is now carried everywhere.

DS received a rocket shaped arcade grabber thingy from Toy Story with the little aliens in and woody and buzz. His uncle spoils him! He also loved his ghostly galleon pirate ship which I bought for the bargain price of £10.
