DS2 age6 wrote
'Have a lovely time sending presents to your frends, love from [DS2]' followed by about 50 kisses 'I would lighck some presents pleese too father christmas and another love from [DS2]. pleese'

DS2 (7) had a slightly more useful list of mostly Star Wars related products and 'a Roman board game a bit like Risk'
He wrote at the end 'PS I hope I have been a good boy. If I haven't Sorry! And please give me a letter back in your language and a translation writin by you'

DD (4 months - OK no list but anyway... ) is getting a rattle and a play mat for when she starts to crawl.

EmmalinaC · 07/12/2008 19:52

Asked DD aged 2.5 after reading this thread.

She said 'Gold. Just gold, mummy'.

Hulababy · 07/12/2008 20:04

Umlellala · 07/12/2008 20:59

Aw, Emmalina, that sounds like a big lot of chocolate coins to me!!

Louandben · 07/12/2008 22:29

My DS(3.5) wants a rope so he can rescue people who are stuck in holes - I think I can thank Fireman Sam for this!

cariboo · 08/12/2008 11:51

dc(8)'s letter to FC written yesterday:

"Dear, Santa I would like to have... a DS Dimond Weding Pearl, Rose Petal cottage with the food shop, Salvanian motel hotel, my life (!), drums, guitar, electronic guitar, trompette, Rock Star costume, chinese costume and happinesse with no fighting! and a book of fairys. Merci!

I have absolutely no idea what she's on about except for the Sylvanian Hotel and the Rose Petal Cottage, which are way over budget for us. We have a Wii that the dc got last Xmas - is there a good game for a 5 & 8 yr old with singing, playing instruments, dancing, etc without having to buy "extras"?

Help! (shock)

TheChristmasArmadillo · 08/12/2008 11:58

ds (4yo) as dictated to me

big box
little nails and 1 big nail
Hammer
Toolbox with lots of tools - pliers, spanners and big red screwdriver (unfortunately he has stated that they need to be real not toy ones )
Flag
Surprise in tool box and big box
wood for hammering
painting stuff
eggs in egg box to make 'looking at cake' (i.e. one to his own recipe that is inedible)
spare door adn window for his bedroom
Glue and envelopes
Toy Buzzy bee
a ds lite
films
clock
shiny show machine
glue in a pot and paintbrush
box of magic
a completely black outfit including underwear/gloves/hat
a rabbit (real)
a cocketeil (sp? - also to be real)

We are trying to convince him that FC may not bring him exactly what he wants but he is convinced he will get it.

However he wasn't too disapointed when he didn't get the 2 'real shiny metal' axes he specified for his birthday so we may get away with it

Lilybeto · 08/12/2008 20:26

Asked charge (little girl aged 2.5) today what she would like Father Christmas to bring for her. Her response

'Some chwismas please' and to sing some 'jingle bell'

Sally4484 · 09/12/2008 11:00

DD is only just two so she hasn't written a letter, but she has said very earnestly a couple of times that Father Christmas is going to bring a 'tick tock for my wrist'.

So there will be a watch at the top of her stocking.

hobbgoblin · 09/12/2008 11:05

iheartdusty · 09/12/2008 11:29
