I love reading other children's lists with fab spellings and sweet ideas

so go on, please post...

OP posts:
Fennel · 04/12/2008 13:19

dd1 (8) asked for (with lots of spelling mistakes but I'll leave them out):

Some stationery (paper clips and sellotape)
A little Christmas tree.
Some wood without nails in to make gravestones.
A chocolate orange.
And some other presents please.

Who says they get more materialistic with age?

mogs0 · 04/12/2008 13:20

From Ds:

Dear Father Christmas
I hav been a good boy
Can I have 3 prazans (presents)

  1. (he's drawn a picture of some glasses with wobbly eyeballs so father christmas knows what to look for)
  1. 3 ds games
  1. tv on my wotrob (wardrobe) (he's drawn a picture of his loft bed with the wardrobe next to it - tv on top and him in bed playing the play station!!!)

I really don't want him to have a tv in his room yet but I've got the other things!! This is the edited list. The one he started in October had to be cut wuite a bit because Father Christmas wouldn't have had room for anyone else's presents!!

MrsMattie · 04/12/2008 14:50

DS (nearly 4) wants:

Lots of chocolate
Some scissors that children can use for cutting
Things to cut and stick
Some new felt pens
Toys for the garden (?)

uptomyeyes · 04/12/2008 18:39

Fennel - I'm intrigued as to why your DD wants to make gravestones??

Fennel · 04/12/2008 18:49

For the pets that die, and (more regulary) for the rodent and bird corpses our two kittens are bringing in daily. Dd1 caresses them and tenderly buries them, with gravestones (using gold and silver paint).

SANTAsauruswrecks · 04/12/2008 20:19

DS would like crisps and biscuits - may as well chuck a froot shoot and a greggs sausage roll in for good measure!

cazzybabs · 04/12/2008 20:27

ohh where do I sent letters to?

dd2 (4) wants a storm trooper hat, a wand, a drum, a beauty and beast video and some shoes.

nannyeggnogg · 04/12/2008 20:36

DD nearly 4 wrote (well dictated to Grandma):

please

dolly baby knows
cinderella laptop
polly pocket mega mall

thank you xxx

She also said "My name is xxx and I also like to be called Angelina sometimes. I am 3 and eleven twelfths. I will leave carrots, raisin pie, milk and hot chocolate. I have tried hard to be good.

And a picture of an alien family on the back for some reason.

kyrasmummy · 04/12/2008 20:56

DD (4.4) wrote her letter at school today, and it said 'Dear Father Christmas, I would really like some decorations pleae' The whole lounge, porch and her bedroom are covered!!

DS 3.1 Just wants a car, bless him

Lowfat · 05/12/2008 10:40

DD has asked for a soft bear, a soft fairy doll and a watch.

Can I find a ragdoll fairy anywhere? - no I cant!

DS is too young to know what it's about so his sister has asked on his behalf for him to have some more cars.

Merry - Rainbowspring - plastic multicoloured slink??

MsPontipine · 05/12/2008 10:43

These lists are lovely - our house is filled with list made and disgarded but basically DS (6 next week) keeps insisting he wants a laptop. Even FC when we visited him agreed they were a good thing

I'd rather he wait a while longer for his own PC - hopefully he'll be happy with his DS - also on his list luckily!

MsPontipine · 05/12/2008 10:45

Oh and bless him - I've just spotted one he's started for me:

mum

hotworter
nicers

Can't wait!!

MiaWallace · 05/12/2008 11:02

DD (3.5)

Pets and a baby brother

sb6699 · 05/12/2008 11:04

DS (10) doesn't know what he wants yet. But all this week he has got up first in the morning and made everyone a slice of toast and organised DD1's lunchbox. May have something to do with the pep talk I gave about how presents are decided on according to how good everyone is!

DD1 (4) wants a Pucci Pup (puppy in a bag from Tesco) and a pair of dressing up shoes. Think we may manage this.

DD2 (2) doesn't really know its Christmas and would probably be happiest with a cardboard box and the santa ornament we have sitting on the fireplace (£1 from the market)

ilovespinach · 05/12/2008 11:23

ds1 2.7 would like a red scooter and Spencer from the Thomas Lego train set. He's been asking for a scooter since the start of the year so I hope it won't be a big anti-climax when he finally opens one on xmas morning

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 05/12/2008 11:27

DD aged 5 wrote her list last night here it is:
