DD(11) wants

A personalised riding jacket
treats for the horse
a brush for the horse
tartan jeans from Primark
and anything else you would like to bring me I have tried to be good and keep my room tidy but some days I just can't!

The cats also managed to write a letter asking for a catnip mouse each - they all put their paw prints on it

MiaWallace · 05/12/2008 12:35

Wilbur

This is a martian maker

MollyCherry · 05/12/2008 12:48

Must do letter over the weekend.

Unfortunately I think DD (4.3) is very unlikely to ask for a Martian maker, but having seen the advert I'd love one!

Have finished my Christmas shopping anyway, so will have to help her with some suggestions...

baabi · 05/12/2008 13:08

Wilbur - could it be Martian Matter by Hasbro? You can get it from Amazon. It seems you can make all sorts of different aliens with it.

DD (5) did not write but got hold of an Argos catalogue and did a stocking collage job which includes:
A variety of babies with accessories. Told her that FC could only deliver one per child and did get her one from her selection.

Playdoh ice cream factory, made me write on the stoking "I really, really, really would like this one, please". She has asked daily if FC will remember this one. He had some trouble finding stock but one of his helpers came to the rescue

Barbie caravan playset - she might get Barbie DVD instead!
Barbie with Cat that wees! - have told her FC thinks it is a rubbish toy!

DS is only 2 1/2 when asked just smiled and said he wanted "kismasss". His sister made him a stocking with lost of Thomas, Bob the builder & Spider man stuff

Aefondkiss · 05/12/2008 13:12

thank you MiaW and ledodgy, love that first one, and so would dd though 1000 pieces might be too much? well it would be a good family effort... off to look at the others, I knew if I asked mn'ers they might have some ideas!

basementbear · 05/12/2008 13:17

I have to admit I try to avoid the subject of letters to Santa - it just sets them up for disappointment on the day!! Last year they wrote them at school and DS1 asked Santa to go to Argos cos they have the best toys

mankymummy · 05/12/2008 13:18

I asked DS (3) what he wanted santa to bring him and he said...

"sausages for tea please"

Me: Dont you want a proper present sweetie?

DS: No thanks mummy, you can have it !!!

Don't think he's quite grasped the santa/christmas thing...

chelseamorning · 05/12/2008 13:32

My DS is only 2 so no letter yet but these are lovely!

Could the 'rainbow spring' be a rainbow-coloured slinky? I think ELC have one.

FiveDollarShake · 05/12/2008 13:51

DS (3) asked for

A christmas tree in my bedroom
Spiderman action figures
A blue Baby Born
A new Peppa Pig jigsaw

Martha200 · 05/12/2008 13:55

ds1 (5.5 yrs) list asks for,
chocolate coins,
something scooby doo ish (not fussed for what but you get the theme!)
and 20 baby brothers (was 100 initially!)

he then wrote his baby brothers and asked for
clothes, a book and any baby toy

Tidey · 05/12/2008 14:02

DS (nearly 7) has asked for a Nintendo ds and a lemon. No idea why he's suddenly so fond of lemons.

mummydoc · 05/12/2008 14:18

dd1 "bonking beds" ( translated to bunk beds- thank goodness) dd2 aged 4 " chocolate" me " don't you want anything else?" dd2 " more chocolate"

julesrose · 05/12/2008 14:19

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 05/12/2008 15:51

BabyDragon (2.10) has just one thing on hers: Chocolate. I keep asking but that all she says so that's what I've written down

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 05/12/2008 15:52

One year DS2 asked for a bedroom. Turned out he wanted a B-damen.

MiaWallace · 05/12/2008 16:04

Lowfat, dd has a gorgeous soft fairy she sleeps with(though currently lost, hopefully at nanna's!), from the local toyshop. Can get for you if you like and post a pic? They are £5 - sure dd won't mind getting another one if you don't like.
