I want a Barbour Newmarket bag. But as it cost £150, I have no hope

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 25/11/2008 14:18

A sewing machine.

But nobody will get it, they all think its boring.

But I want

AuntieMaggie · 25/11/2008 14:19

a new bathroom or a shed

Kathyis6incheshigh · 25/11/2008 14:20

a car
Driving test is on 16th Dec. I think if I pass there should be a Peugeot 207 parked outside for me on Xmas day with a big ribbon round it.

nuttygirl · 25/11/2008 14:21

craft stuff...love it but everyone sees it as 'work' for me cos I sell stuff that I make.

SpookyMadMummy · 25/11/2008 14:21

A whole 24 hours (perhaps in a Spa) with no interrupting phonecalls/messages to say where is this/what do I do about..

rempy · 25/11/2008 14:22

A shed. Now there is a proper christmas present.

Worm maintenance also too boring.

I can remember a thread a while ago where some poor mumsnetter knew she wouldn't be bought the cakerack she wanted as it was too practical!

Too practical! She WANTS it.

Teatowels (although noone will as think too dreary)

Pressure cooker (ditto)

Scales (ditto)

A long w/end away dsomewhere with great food and rooms with dh (Impossible as laways abroad and when home just wants to stay home)

timmette · 25/11/2008 14:23

a nice red shiny kitchen aid and a renovated kitchen to put it in.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 25/11/2008 14:23

How much is a wormery maintenance kit Rempy? Can't you buy it yourself?

Flightattendant4 · 25/11/2008 14:23

socks

and a husband

PinkPussyCat · 25/11/2008 14:24

A week in the Seychelles. For one.

rempy · 25/11/2008 14:24

Oh, fantasy christmas presents probably belong on a separate thread.

I want 8 hours uninterupted sleep, and then a lie in. Not going to happen for the next 18 years.

An Aga, but I know that is being totally unrealistic!

I would like a Christmas where my dd doesn't know what she is getting, all because my mil blabbed it out last week. Stupid woman.

rempy · 25/11/2008 14:26

I will buy my worms a maintenance kit after christmas, when no one has bought it for me.

Its just so irritating that people say "what do you want" "oh, I'm not buying you that, what about some bathsalts/box of biscuits/CD voucher."

I WANT THE WORM KIT. You asked.

PerkinWarbeck · 25/11/2008 14:29

lovely thick new towels. or bedlinen.

this will be dimissed by all as not exciting enough, and I will receive and interactive DVD games. or "pampering" crap.

girlandboy · 25/11/2008 14:31

ComeOVeneer - nice handbag and such a bargain!

Chirpygirl · 25/11/2008 14:46

I want a pair of Red Duo Boots.

Actually, I want the pair my mum bought in teh sale but has never worn as 'they are a bit young' This is after she let me try them on to see how comfy as our leg measurements are the same.
I even offered to pay her for them but she wants to hang onto them.

But I can't get DH to spend over £100 on boots (sob)

AtheneNoctua · 25/11/2008 14:50

A new job. Because the one I have stinks.

moondog · 25/11/2008 14:50

Rempy, why can't you get some sleep?
