Christmas Bargain Thread 8 - The one with the Vag Charms

[RainbowZebraWarrior]

Hi all. I'm just caretaking until Reastie returns, but here's our new thread. Please do use up the old one first though.

This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here:

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for a weighted teddy for children. Something to help with sensory needs/regulation?

Also, any bargains around for a weighted blanket (for an adult)

Thanks!

for weighted teddies have a look at hug a lumpz. I think some people found them at a decent price on prime day. You can usually pick them up for about £12-15. They are lovely.

ive just received a LeMieux Bullseye hobby horse and accessories for £25 delivered from Hope Valley Saddlery. Currently £95 on John Lewis!

they also have Pegasus, Sven and Maximus off Tangled. Wanted to check they were legit before recommending but I ordered on Sunday and arrived today! bullseye hobby horse

I can't checkout without an Australian phone number! How did you manage it? Thanks ☺️

I used Amazon pay to checkout. I have been looking for them everywhere. Thanks to the person who posted originally.

Just to say the Lynx gift set isn't the washbag set. The cheapest I've seen that is £8.75 on Clubcard at Tesco.

Thank you i have been looking for some everywhere. DD thinks Santa can get anything.

Would anyone have any recommendations for a good smart watch for a teen boy who is into sports (so fitness tracker etc). Willing to pay £100, maybe a little more for the right one. He has a Samsung phone if that makes any difference.

Does anyone know of a good food advent calender? (Not Degusta)

I used PayPal to check out, have you got that? x

@KG1145 I saw adult weighted blankets in Aldi .

This is still on offer for £31 @BudgetBuster

🎄 code ‘getcosy’ gives buy one get one free on turtle doves cashmere fingerless gloves, which are already down to £24 from £40 a pair so two pairs for £24. Annoying £4.95 postage on orders under £50!

£130 is a bargain for the big ones. What team do they follow as no obvious overlap between Ferrari and Redbull unless they are trying to collect all cars. JL seems to currently have the widest selection on offer with price match.

Both Ferrari helmets are down to £54.99 at JL too and each comes with a mini Lewis or Charles.

I got the giraffe hug a lump for £10 from haul but they’re really inexpensive all the time. I also got the weighted sloth for £23 on “normal” Amazon. Tbh the hug a lump looks nicer but not as heavy and no arms for over the shoulder. It’s out of stock now but they do have others.

I have purchased from Hope Valley many times

They were so quick! I still don’t know why they’re so much cheaper than elsewhere but my toddler will be BUZZING with his horse 🥹

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone has had dealings with a site called Onbuy please? I bought a Shaun the Sheep backpack on there a week ago, and have just received a refund, saying address undeliverable? I'm thinking now it may not have been genuine, although at least they've sent the money back...

For those of you looking to buy the Bloom and Wild trees (or anything else) you can now use Tesco vouchers there for 2x the value! Hope it helps someone.

You can get them in JD which often does 20% discount with BLC as well as student discount.

Bought this Little Mermaid perfume for £3.50 from Sainsbury’s for my 5yo today. No idea what it smells like but she will only care about the bottle anyway, which is very pretty and looks more expensive than it was. Half price with a nectar card.

Thank you @Londonmummy66 these are lovely 😍 and I'm going to enjoy wearing them !!

@puffalicious need to be quick a the auction is tomorrow 4th.

Onbuy was always meant to be a rival for Ebay, but never quite got the same traffic or reputation. I bought an Exploding Kittens game from them years ago but haven't used them since (mainly because I thought Exploding Kittens was hugely overrated, but also because I just found better, more relatable deals elsewhere)
