Christmas Bargain Thread 8 - The one with the Vag Charms

[RainbowZebraWarrior]

Hi all. I'm just caretaking until Reastie returns, but here's our new thread. Please do use up the old one first though.

This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here:

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

🎄 Emoji to copy if required for posting bargains as some agree this makes deals easier to spot. (or post in bold)

🎄 Scribbler has some jellycats on offer still, a few have sold out but there are some cute ones left!
Also if anyone spots any offers on a projector that would be much appreciated. ☺️ The kids want to project tbeir netflix!

Dad got a Vtech kids one for her 5th birthday. Super easy to use and she still uses it at 7.

Aargh! Freezer has just broken down - anyone have any Argos codes they could send me please? Be very grateful. Just what I don’t need before Christmas!

Thank you. If it was for me I’d be all over that (much more sensible) but he’s been through a lot this year and I want to get him something special which he wants (he’s had major heart surgery and the new one has all the heart related bells and whistles). It’s frustrating when I see how much cheaper the series 11 is in comparison!

Morning all. thread 8, I'm a little late this year! lets see what bargains are to be had then eh 🌲

🌲Popsa has 50% off photo books and a gift box with code ESF2026.

I haven't bought one of these myself, but this set of 6 Baylis and Harding Christmas bags with bath bubbles looks sweet. But...first two reviews say only one bag was delivered, but most recent one says 6 were delivered. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Baylis-Harding-Seasonal-Fragrances-Friendly/dp/B0GZR259DK/ref=sr_1_10

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but there was some talk about the Bouquet in a Book earlier. Again, I haven't bought this myself, but there is a Christmas wreath book as well. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bouquet-Book-Christmas-Wreath-Pre-punched/dp/1446318710/ref=sr_1_2

Thanks for this! I’ve taken a gamble. Delivery is 21-24th December though 🙈 hopefully they arrrive before though as these will be great teachers presents

🎄 Whatnot
I used my referral credit on Whatnot last night to get the Fisher Price Little People Toy Story Andy's Room for £8.27 including postage. It was priced at £25 + £3.27 shipping . It's almost £30 in most shops plus delivery, and £20+ on Vinted so I'm really pleased with that for my smallest who will be 2 in February.

I've put my referral link on the bargain referral thread, you'll get between £10 and £200 credit to spend on live shows or buy it now items, and I will get credit matched to yours when you receive your purchase which would be lovely!

@Goldleafcat - which Apple watch are you looking at? There are student / education discounts available on the s12 starting at £329.

The 46mm series 12. Size M-L. I do think our education days are mostly behind us now (just our DS but he’s 4!)

Just had an email to say free delivery on all Lakeland orders until midnight 9th November. Some decent bargains in the Black Friday sale too.

Not quite as bargainous as previous years, but large Diary Milk has £2.36 off at check out and more if you S&S:

If anyone is looking to get something from Urban Outfitters, hold out. They always do 30 percent off sale on black Friday!

🎄 Rehab Hair
50% off site wide and a free gift worth £35. I added the viral brush for £8 and the gift set was added

Regarding Vinyl players, I have researched extensively on this and think I can help.

The ones that have the speakers built in are handy and cheap but they have a lower quality of sound and will damage vinyls over time. For the normal user, this won't be an issue, but if you're a collector and want to keep things in good order, avoid like the plague.

The best bang for your buck is hands down:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-PS-LX3BT-Bluetooth-Turntable-Operation-Black/dp/B0GF9LPR9X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1

It's actually £100 off on a limited offer at the moment!

Get yourself a pair of decent bookshelf speakers to go with it (I went for Edifier) and you are looking at a brilliant, Crystal clear set up for way less than the high-end equivalent.

That's my two cents anyway :)

Free Matcha Handcream with any spend over 50p on body shop

🌲 if you have an EE account, some really good savings on Beats headphones today. You need to be logged in to see the discounted prices

I got my dad this last year for Christmas after a lot of research on price vs quality - really happy with it.

this is super helpful thankyou!

Thanks that’s a great deal. I was £11.20 including delivery with a 10% off welcome.

Just managed to order 100ml Armani Si for £80 from Notino - much cheaper than anywhere else. Was going to get in duty free next month but the price was better now
