Who's else setting their alarms ridiculously early tomorrow morning to join the Tesco queue and bag their Christmas delivery slot? 🤣🎄

My husband gets up for work at 4:45am anyway, so he's already been instructed to wake me up at the same time so I can get myself ready to jump in the queue at 5am!

Thought I'd start a little thread so we can all keep each other company tomorrow morning while we're half asleep, clutching our coffees and desperately waiting for our turn to book our Christmas slots!

Who's joining me for the annual Tesco Christmas slot madness?

I assume I am, it just says it’s paused on my phone!

@DaisyDooley yes. Past 2 years it hasn’t been too bad wait wise. Think they learnt their lesson from few years back when it was chaos and it crashed .

Could have had half an hour more sleep…

Checking in, I set the alarm for 5am and I’m freezing ‘cos the heating hasn’t come on yet. I’ve been logged on since 5:15, half asleep with a coffee, patiently waiting.

I was on the web site trying to order some gym clothes and I got kicked of and this red message appeared saying if I'm not there to order for Christmas,come back later ..really annoying.. anyone know how long I have to wait before normal service is resumed

I’m impressed you can manage two of these simultaneously. My nerves are shot every year with one.

Just pondering how much of my life has been spent in the Tesco Christmas Queue…..

I can’t believe it didn’t open until 5.47 here! What a palaver.

@Yiayoulathats why I have both laptop and iPad open just in case. I never trust one device now I always have a back up.

Last year I think I waited about 20 minutes once the actual queue started

12 min wait time here

Mine now says - Wait time 10 mins

2 minute wait time for me x

Mine says wait time 9 minutes

@Skybluecoat haha, it feels less fretful than previous years, mum just gives me the dates she wants and I do them both at tandem and hope the kids stay asleep!
14 minutes wait now on mine, 17 on theirs

23 mins wait time here.

Wait time is 7 mins for me
