My PLouise order has arrived and I'm happy but agree with everything @IlovePond said.

I've taken everything out of the outer packaging (I'll try and add a pic) and my cola lip box also stank and was sticky. Everything else looks nice and my daughter will be thrilled with her coconut conditioner which smells lovely.

Agree with other comments on p Louise. My mystery bag had a lip oil and body scrub. I think previous mystery bags have been better but still good value with the codes. I also got the extra lip duo and 2 of the waters.

Amazon has a cute Santa Palm Pal reduced from £8.99 to £2.93 if anyone is looking for a stocking filler.

i feel like I got lucky with mine , I had already ordered two lots of the double micellar water , which arrived . Then went for a bigger order that I’ve just unpacked , shampoo & conditioner that I paid for but with 15% off , then the two micellar waters , gorgeous crystal box of the lip duo , didn’t realise how pretty it would be . Then a what’s the scoop body scrub and a Bake my day lip oil which smells beautiful, like marzipan and a lovely gift bag to repack some of the bits a a gift .

That sounds like a good selection! Maybe I did something wrong in the process as although I checked it was all in the basket correctly when I paid, the free items aside from the mystery bag didn’t go through. I got the shampoo and conditioner too so hopefully it will be good 🤞

Flubadubba · 05/10/2026 17:21

My PLouise order just arrived. I got a lip oil plus a body scrub in the mystery bag, the free BadB energy lip stuff plus 2 micellar waters. I got the beauty saver with an eyes shadow stick/palette/ bad b energy lip thing.

Took me a while to work out what was what, as everything was packed into the mystery bag bag (DD has stolen the bag itself as, apparently, to a 7 year old, it is the most perfect thing she has ever seen).

I’ve been into my local Card Factory this afternoon and they have a half price sale on Peppa Pig toys and some other bits that might be quite useful as stocking fillers. I picked up some burger socks, doughnut socks. Some half price sweets. Lots of food based bits and pieces including pastries that look like knock off jellycats for just £3 each.

Would anyone please have an Argos code, for either a £50 or a £100 spend?

I gave my last ones away (but also don’t remember what the dates were in the last ones).

For anyone ordering from Mountain Warehouse I have 20% off code that stacks with already discounted items according to the T&Cs. It came with English Heritage magazine so might be generic. Happy to post it if anyone wants to make use

@BasiliskStare - be careful if ordering from the Bridal Beauty Company - they were heavily criticised on one of the Style and Beauty threads a while ago for some very - allegedly - shoddy practices and terrible customer service. They also - allegedly - have a history of getting bad reviews removed.

Steer clear!

last year someone posted here this companies great deal. It was for a full size product that was greatly reduced. I ordered it and shared it on a group chat and a few others ordered it as well. We received a sample size.

@BasiliskStareHave a look at “The bridal beauty company “ they do nice little gift sets that come in a logo linen bag from about £15 . They’re mostly good size samples of high end brands . My girls love them .

I have posted this comment twice…

My niece likes a bottle of fizz for christmas so I ordered this from Costco for her. It's a fab little gift for £16.89. (I'm not getting the smell of gardenia from the candle though, it smells buttery to me). They have a rose version too.

Partner went to Hotel Chocolat today and their huge selection box was less than half price (along with loads of other sale items) making it cheaper than the smaller selection box. They are trying to shift things ready for Xmas stock but obviously it's all delicious 😋

I’m on the hunt for either

  • charcuterie monthly subscription
  • fish monthly subscription
for Dad - I got him the Braycured on last year and he loved the concept but the product was a bit crap, has anyone used any before that may do a Black Friday deal or similar?

Try the Tobermory fish company up on the island of Mull. The quality is amazing and we’ve had hampers from them at Christmas before. They deliver all over the U.K. and customer service is fantastic. They do a monthly subscription.
