@sillygoofmy skinny but tall 12 year old was a size s in the tops I linked, with a slightly oversized fit. She tried on the tracksuit bottoms in a xs and they were absolutely ridiculous so didn’t buy.

The gymnastics bar and air track mat in Smyths is meant to be a bundle offer for £100 instead of £120. However if you add to basket separately it reduces to £80 instead.

What is everyone hoping to see discounted on the prime day tomorrow/wednesday? I have a couple of things on my eldests lists that I’m hoping will appear, and then some inspiration from browsing from my 4 year old who seems to not want anything!

I do wish I had heeded the advice of the wise poster who suggested cancelling the hotel chocolat liqueurs from moonpig. Mine came today with October dates and they were not willing to replace with better dated nor refund them. They provided an account credit which is better than nothing but equally requires me to shop with them again.

Really hoping the kids kindle with colour illustrations is discounted even further!

I'm holding out for a bigger discount on Amazon devices. I jumped too early last time and they reduced them even more 🙈

I have also been eyeing Fitbits - noticed that the Inspire 3 that DS bought himself for £59.99 a couple of weeks ago is now £68. Maybe in readiness to be discounted back to £59.99 tomorrow when the deals start 🤔

My plouise orders have just arrived - happy with the mystery items. One had a grape body mist and an after dark eyeshadow palette. The other had a make up melting mist and glitter liner duo. 💕

i feel like I got lucky with mine , I had already ordered two lots of the double micellar water , which arrived . Then went for a bigger order that I’ve just unpacked , shampoo & conditioner that I paid for but with 15% off , then the two micellar waters , gorgeous crystal box of the lip duo , didn’t realise how pretty it would be . Then a what’s the scoop body scrub and a Bake my day lip oil which smells beautiful, like marzipan and a lovely gift bag to repack some of the bits a a gift .

@Thelifeofawife - PLouise had run out of the Mystery Bags the other day so perhaps that is the problem?

My order came: I got 2 x micellar water. The freebies in the welcome box were a gloopy body scrub and an after dark palette, (which is no good to me as it contains talc). I also got the two lip products which look interesting. My purchased products were a shampoo and conditioner.

I don’t think I applied all the relevant discounts because I seem to have paid £18 for the shampoo and conditioner, (plus £1 p&p), which is quite pricy for what they are. However, given the rest of the stuff that came with it, I did get value for money.

On a H&S note:

The lip set came in a glittery Bad Bitch box, which absolutely stank! The smell hit me as soon as I opened the large box, even though the BB box was sealed in plastic. The glittery bits had gone a bit gooey/sticky and I don’t like to think of the chemicals involved. I think it might have got too hot in the delivery van or something 🙀

The lip products themselves were separately packaged and absolutely fine.

I appreciated the nice gift bag inside. I did NOT appreciate the warning on the outside of the cardboard box that the items inside were not returnable if the outer box opened- what if anything was damaged inside? My stuff was fine, but I didn’t think this was an acceptable thing to have on an outer box.

For those wanting to gift the box in its entirety without opening it: there was no delivery note inside my box.

If anyone has someone expecting baby over Christmas time, these baby grows are cute only size 0 cheap currently- which equates to newborn

@BasiliskStare - be careful if ordering from the Bridal Beauty Company - they were heavily criticised on one of the Style and Beauty threads a while ago for some very - allegedly - shoddy practices and terrible customer service. They also - allegedly - have a history of getting bad reviews removed.

That is a shame it comes in such a nice box but you can't split out for multiple gifts and then use the box. Cheeky wording too.
