What Christmas items can’t you resist buying each year? 👠👠

[SaraHoliday]

What can't you resist at Christmas?

For me it's:

Glass Snow Globes

Wrapping Paper (my stash of gift wrap could last for 4 years already!)

Christmas Party dresses

I like the lobster crisps too, got loads after new year reduced, i don’t think they are that popular

Terry's chocolate orange

I wish they’d send them my way

A new pair of festive pyjamas!

M&S extremely chocolatey biscuit selection.

I love the Aldi specially selected mince pies. Particularly the ones with Jamaican rum and almonds. Gilda's bakery also do fantastic mince pies but that might be quite Kent-specific.

I was tidying the shoe cupboard this week and realised I have every type of party shoe I might ever need. I seem to have bought a pair every year for a number of years. So I will try to avoid doing that this year and instead maybe get a sparkly dress or top or 2 to go with the shoes!

A bag of nuts (no one ever eats them)
Cheese footballs (ditto)
Cream soda (never buy it at any other time although I love it)

Christmas milk! 😂 I love it.

I always buy glass bottles of Coca-Cola at Christmas for some reason! 🤷

(Side note: I have tried to stop saying 'Coke' as I had a very odd online conversation - until I realised they were thinking of a different type of 'Coke' 🙄)

Baileys Irish cream 🥃
Baileys chocolates 🍫
Baileys biscuits 🍪
Baileys pouring cream 🥛
And more Baileys on top 😆

Spot the Bailey's Advent Calendar @Littlejellyuk 🎄

a Christmas Mug and a panettone cake is non negotiable for me 🎄

Puff pastry Christmas pies..controversial one I know.
We don't like short crust.

Oh wow! 😍
Thank you for this ❤️

Sherry and family Christmas pjs! DCs are 18 and 20 and still look for them 😂

Glass baubles - I buy one or two a year
snowballs
cheese footballs
marzipan fruits
Harrods Christmas cake
scented candles
ribbon
candied nuts hot from the Christmas market

Ahhh us too! Last year our local B&M Had the glass bottles with the Santa labels

Yes! This is my Christmas treat too!

M&S mini stollen bites.
I buy them ‘to put away’ knowing full well I’ll open them.
I open them ‘to have one little bite per day, after supper, as a treat’ knowing full well that I’ll polish off the whole box 🙄

You drink it? No, no, no. It’s for pouring over ice-cream, over trifle, into mince pies, over cake (any sort), over pudding (any sort)!

We don't do a lot of Xmas decorations, but we always have a Xmas tree, and I go absolutely mad for cute little decorations for it - little felt spaniels with strings of light wrapped around them or little clip on sparkly birds, anything really. I can't get enough of them for some reason!

We have way more than we need and my daughter said she is limiting me to one new tree decoration a year from now on.

We'll see about that.....

Vintage Christmas decorations. I try to limit myself to one per year but don't usually manage it.

For all you lobster crisps fans, can anyone tell me are they similar to prawn cocktail flavour? In which case I'm not too fussed! But if not, I'm intrigued!

M&S Clementine & Cranberry Bucks Fizz
The posh ready made custard
Randomly, breadsticks and a set of dips.
Box of biscuits
And I’m another one who collects wrapping paper even though I won’t need more for several years

After Eights

How luxurious I thought they were as a child, and now they are synonymous with Christmas for me.
