Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

I've just started shopping for Christmas. For any Paw Patrol Rubble & Crew loving little ones Sainsburys had the kinetic sand kits with tools and figures in clearance for 6.70. Great stocking filler, got both my boys one!

Not too soon. I’ve been on the threads for years and have learnt that now is the best time to buy, in the end of summer sales. Prices will not be discounted as much in the run up to Christmas and will in fact, increase after the November Budget.

Yay! I moved out of the UK 5y ago and stopped joining these threads because nothing was ever a bargain by the time you'd added postage! But I have moved back (Purely for these threads of course...) and I'm excited for Christmas presents to be cheaper again 😁

I’ve just bought the Benefit box for DD, not that she needs any more make up!

An ask from me, SiL used to be hot chocolate mad but has since been diagnosed with Diabetes, I’ve had a quick Google but would love any recommendations from anyone that has used a luxury hot chocolate and is

Thanks @DorsetTea for the recommendation of Argos’ 2 for £15 Lego sets - some good ones there.

Also some reasonably bargainous wooden toys in that same offer - like the Chad Valley post office which looks very nice for the price, and these remote controlled football themed cars (different clubs available!)

Finally bought that science kit for one of my kids and a few more for the present drawer!

Does anyone have any toy advent calendar recommendations for boys age 6/7 because sister has been purchased the zuru mini babies one (£20) and I need to find something similar for them now. Have had hot wheels, Thomas trains, Playmobil and brio in the past. Not really into Lego unfortunately. Thanks in advance for the help!
