Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

<waves to everyone>

Thanks for the new thread, I have already got a couple of presents from the prequel threads this year. Not really a bargin but I have also ordered my Colin the catapillar tree decoration from m&s this morning as I couldn't get hold of one last year!

The slippers are really only for the small of foot - only sizes 3, 4 and 5 atm but glad that some of you have swooped in successfully!

I’m a bit late to the game today but managed to get two pairs of the chocolate ones in a size 5 which will do me beautifully this winter! Thank you!
Thank you hugely massively with big chocolaty hugs to @Reastie and @Sideorderofchips who run these wonderful threads so well and who must have saved me hundreds- nay, thousands of ££££ over the years.
I have FOMO so DD has done very well out of me over the last decade!

DD has decided now she’s 19 she’s an adult -yet still wants ‘child’ proportion of presents. Less toys obvs more expensive beauty products it seems!
Looking for her annual Christmas bag (I’ve bought her one for the last 5 years, two Radley, one Lulu Guinness, a Strathmore and a coach). She casually dropped a hint for an Aspinal Midi Mayfair in pink last week. She got shortshrift - I have been coveting the Midi Mayfair in Cherry Red for 3 years!
So I’m hoping I get some great handbag inspiration here over the next 8 weeks!

Mine are aswell! The piles get smaller but the items more expensive!
I've been one these threads since mine were babies and now one is heading off to uni so these threads will be invaluable with keeping costs down.
Thank you @Sideorderofchips and @Reastie - glad you're feeling abit better.

Thanks @Reastiesorry to hear you’ve been unwell but glad you’re feeling a bit better now. Looking forward to bargains, I’ve got v few people to buy for now and DS is almost 18 but as others have said, it’s more expensive! Looking for inspiration to fill an advent for him, so will keep an eye out for any bargainous smellies, and beauty related things. Will post anything I see too.

Thank you for the thread - I'm excited to have somewhere to let out my early Christmas excitement and to spot some bargains.

Karistyleaftea · Yesterday 17:15

These threads are so helpful - thank you all!
Last year two of my best hits were the wind up radios , gratefully received by 4 chaps ranging in age from 26-76 and the Fiorelli bag in pale pink which my DD loved . It was £10. Fab bargains .

PudgeJudy · Yesterday 17:20

Thank you for the thread. I got a few gifts last year thanks to these threads.

Absolutely not
I have probably 50% of the small kids sorted already thanks to deals I've spotted. Lots of people shop all year round to avail of good deals.

You’re sort of in the wrong place if you think that ! The Christmas faithful are here at this time every year if you change your mind and want to jump on board though .

Pinkbox · Yesterday 18:42

Hello @Reastie😍😍😍 here we go…

DungareesTrombonesDinos · Yesterday 18:55

I have never been able to join these threads because we've had a really hard time financially over the last few years so Christmas has been bought from Decembers pay day and a bit of hands over eyes behaviour for January!

But this year we are doing much better so Im excited to join in!

Any ideas for stocking fillers for my 21 and 20 year old kids? I normally do booze, restaurant voucher hamper type thing. But looking to put in some more bits and bobs this time.
