It’s all a bit of fun. Sending my good wishes to all this Christmas x

Nothing worse than seeing other people's dinner/ food/ rate my plate pics.. we are all different... some look dry.. some smootherd in gravy... some with ketchup/ mayo on .
Argument for and against Yorkshire puddings..
I will just say my daughter did us proud and l enjoyed every bite.

Conversely, very interested in seeing the various plates! We haven't eaten yet so will post later.

I absolutely hate eating christmas dinner so late. I want to eat at the latest 1pm. Any later and Im just not hungry and can't be bothered. Does nobody eat at a normal lunch time?

We get up late and have a large, leisurely brunch. A later meal suits us.

We do. Always have our meal about 12.30, then cheeseboard later on.

Why has everyone been so stingy with the roast potatoes?! Mind you, I've always been veggie so they are pretty much the main bit of the meal for me. Sorry, I didn't snap my dinner, but it was delcious! Thanks to those who have posted, and OP, good thread idea.

People probs trying to be good with their carbs! I can’t blame them considering how much choc, cheese and crisps I’ve munched on in the past two days 🐷

Goodness some of these look a bit sad! I think plated food is best left not photographed!

Any more? I really appreciate the diversity of food and plating people have.

Extra roast potatoes may have been consumed followed by yule log and cream

My in-laws very kindly hosted this year. The dinner was delicious. I’m nervous about posting because mine was huge, especially compared to pp’s dinners!
