How long has everyone got off for Christmas

How long has everyone got off work for Christmas? I'm a stay at home mum but my husband finishes on the 23rd and goes back the 5th January

Off Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Work in retail.

Two weeks and I don’t have to use any annual leave. I work at a university and it’s one of the few perks we have at the moment!

Im off 25th - 30th. But only because that's my usual days off.

I’m working til 6pm Christmas Eve then back in on the Monday

Six days.

Finish this Friday 19th. Back on the 7th jan. Didn’t use any annual leave but am part time so don’t work Mon/tues.

23rd Dec ~ 6th Jan.

Finish mid afternoon on 23rd and back in at 8am on Boxing Day

I’ll be putting my out of office on on Thurs 18th and I’m back on Mon 5th - glorious 17 day stretch. However my job is very intense and full on, so it’s much needed!

Christmas Day and Boxing Day - that’s all I’ve ever had

I finish at 5pm Christmas Eve and back in on Monday 5th January

17th to the 5th. I’m an Office Manager in a construction company.

25th and 26th Dec and 1st Jan (hopefully) ! Sadly also loads of work that doesn’t stop in between so we just get on with it.

I'm self employed. I'm finishing at 7.30pm on 23rd and returning on 30th - I might go back on 29th if any clients want an appointment then.

Finish at 2pm on the 23rd and back at 6am on the 5th. Work is open until 10.30 on the 24th but we get a day off for birthdays. As the rule is "the last working day if your birthday falls on a weekend or bank holiday" I don't work Christmas Eve and haven't done for years.

Only the bank holidays. I don’t mind working over Christmas, I could WFH if I wanted but i’ll probably go into the office. It’s nice and quiet so a good time to catch up. I’m a bit odd and unless i’m away from home on holiday, I like to stay in my regular routine, so i’ll be glad to get back to work on the Monday.

Dh will finish at 2pm on 24th and will be back in 5am on 26th! (food distribution) he's not allowed to take any annual leave from around 14th December to 3rd January. Me I don't work weekends, Wednesdays or bank holidays so I finish on 23rd and then back in on 29th. Work in the nhs so business as usual even for us non clinical staff. We have to ensure 2 people in the office all the time......

Same here, we usually get 2 weeks off

School holidays for all of us 🙂

@TheToteBagLady same here, I did use some annual leave too. I always save some so I can be off when the kids break up.

I finish on 24th and will be back on 29th. Not envious of anyone having longer off, that’s plenty of time for me.

Another nurse here working long day Christmas Day, have Boxing Day off though. Night shift New Year’s Eve too.

Our extended family Christmas is this weekend coming.

I’m used to it so don’t mind working Christmas. I’ve 2 weeks off in February when we are going to the canaries so looking forward to the new year.

Finish 19th, back 6th Jan - using 2.5 days' leave as the company shuts and I work 4 days a week. This break is so needed!

Last day is Friday 19th, back on Monday 5th
