Thread 13 - the one with a cheesy advent calendar of 67 jumpers

Reastie · 29/11/2025 20:25

Decided to combine both thread title suggestions :)

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper Xmas Grin

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.
Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

@EastCoastExile - could you please tell me what The Tour 2026 is? I’d like to get one of the tshirts but am worried about wearing it and promoting something I wouldn’t want to! Thank you!

It’s a series of running events: https://www.thetourevents.co.uk/enter
I haven’t done any of them but am somehow on their mailing list!

juicyjellybaby · 04/12/2025 00:32

If anyone is still looking for an advent calander hotel chocolates have just gone half price online. I am tempted to buy the grand one or hot chocolate one

juicyjellybaby · 04/12/2025 00:52

@Slowlyslowlysurely I bought one from the white company but that was about 3 weeks ago

Here for hive help… my littlest DD has Jellycat bunny in snowsuit at the top of her list and is certain FC will be delivering this. However, it’s out of stock everywhere I’d trust. Anybody know anywhere I can get a safe, genuine one? Thanks

Are you on any of the Facebook groups? Eg ‘Jelly Cats UK genuine buyers and sellers only’. If you make a post you might get someone selling a new one or there are shoppers on those pages who will pick up from Harrods, etc, for a small finder’s fee. They’re also great for making sure you’re buying a genuine one and not a fake!

If it’s the right one there are several NWT on Vinted around the £70 mark!

Depends on age range. If you're looking for preteen, teens and adults then Stackers is always my go to. You can buy trays that stack together which makes it easy for the recipient to add to it if their jewellery collection expands.

@FudgeSodaPops much appreciated, they look lovely on the website. Personalised looks fab though only 10% discount available!

I would search their stockists list online and try local stores near you. Garden centers etc that may have one in stock!

Ooh thanks! My kids fancy gravitrax. Don’t suppose you know how long the £5 off takes to come through?

@sillygoofafter I signed up I got an email asking me to to confirm my subscription. Once I did that I had the £5 discount code in my inbox within ten minutes. HTH

Are you definitely signed in to your Anthropologie account? It won't work unless logged in. I realised this after 20 minutes of trying!

@ladybaga of course I wasn’t!!! 🤣 thank you so much. It works

Restlessinthenorth · 04/12/2025 06:51

Has anyone had any success using a UNiDAYS discount on the crocs website? The code initially takes the extra off but then when I click through to pay the price goes back up. So frustrating!

TheBigBagBabes · 04/12/2025 06:56

@Slowlyslowlysurely they had them in The Jelly Cat store in Selfridges in Manchester City centre last Friday if you’re anywhere near?

I want to use the anthropologie code but everything is oober expensive, or under the threshold or now has 10% off. What have people bought (besides jellycats as I dont want one of those and this is for me) I am on the cusp of giving up which seems really daft

I bought a bubble initial necklace £20 after discount.

Thank you for this, I just got a few including the advent for 2. Had a £5 birthday voucher from them and 10% ‘anniversary’ voucher for signing up 1 year ago. Both worked 😀 planning to empty them into a bowl/plate for Christmas Day

Thisisthedream · 04/12/2025 07:33

Jellycat searchers. Strickland and Holt in North Yorkshire has quite a large selection and maybe able to help.
Photo with contact details will load eventually.....

I've been waiting 2 and a half weeks for the photo glasses cleaning cloths. Is this the same as others had to wait? I've emailed for an update but had no response....

Not at all. I the first one I bought about 2 months ago was here after 4 ish days. The latest, after about a week. I think it was royal mail

I got a nice eye mask! Wouldn’t pay £22 for it but was only £2 after the discount. They have a few different designs.

Just had a notification that RM are expecting my Fahlo bracelets.

Did you get a shipping email from Fahlo first, or not?

I know a few people have asked about grabbing machines ..this one is on Aldi special from Thursday 11th Dec . Plushies included. I can't speak for the quality etc but for £20 might be worth a punt.
