Thread 13 - the one with a cheesy advent calendar of 67 jumpers

Reastie · 29/11/2025 20:25

Decided to combine both thread title suggestions :)

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper Xmas Grin

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.
Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

If you go onto the website and scroll down to the bottom there is a reference to Anthroperks. If you click on that it will ask you to sign up. WHen you do do you must agree to be spammed with emails. Almost immediately you will get offered 10% off and receive loads of emails about their current sale. If you just keep ignoring those a few days later they will send you an online voucher for £20 off a full price item. You can then use it to buy any single non reduced item on their website. WHen you activate the voucher you must be signed in to your account. WHen you go to checkout the £20 will be taken off your item. So I bought the £23 jellycat coffee charm and it cost me £6.95 delivered which was a big result as DD is obsessed with them! Other people have bought L'Occiataine gift sets.

Ah! I need to be signed in to my account. That explains why I couldnt get it to work! Thanks

Do you have a stove fire or bbq? Then check this out - a rechargeable lighter.

Friend showed me theirs tonight and it worked really well.

Great gift for those who have stove fires or bbq.

Gruum - I have tried everything and I am only allowed 1 free sample at a time in my basket. If I add a second - however I add it, the first one disappears.

Apologies this reply is very late. The lip conditioner offer appears to still be available. May just be until stock lasts not an actual time cut off. I always add my bundle before the lip conditioner. This link has all of the bundles available (some of the older ones have expired).

https://starfreebies.co.uk/?s=Gr%C3%BCum+

Either double back or click the gruum icon at checkout and it'll take you to the homepage where you can claim the lip oil on top of the free bundle. Best way to get your money's worth. I recently discovered this link (at the bottom). I got the shower oil and the heat protection mist + the free lip conditioner and on top of all of that, I was able to apply a code (freespf is the code) for a free small bottle of SPF30 suncream. Good little gifts for friends and family. Let me know if you need any further help! If you still can't get it to work send some screenshots over and I'll try and figure it out.

Oh, just to clarify about this comment do you mean you're trying to add multiple free bundles at once? I think I may have got confused. Each offer you can only choose one and pay 4.95 (3.95 sometimes) postage.

@YouCanLetItGo if you have TikTok there’s a number of Pokemon card traders on TikTok shop. Additionally, I work in a store, and Pokemon cards are one of the top things that get pinched, so you’d be surprised as to how many stores keep them in the back. When you're in, just ask at customer services if they have any and sometimes your lucky! Even co op do this. Hope that helps!

Cmini · 01/12/2025 07:05

BAM clothing have an extra 10% off their Black Friday edit (which already had 30% off )
they do have a referral which I’ll see if I can add mine to the referral thread - but not sure that will stack

DS (12) has a pair of pyjamas that were hand me downs from his cousin. He loves them and wears then constantly, have to time the days I can wash them. His little sister wants to get him a new pair for Christmas. He describes them as cosy but not fluffy. They were from M&S about 8 years ago. Any ideas on where to get some that fit the bill?

We’ve trawled online and bought a few but they’ve all been sent back as aren’t what we’re looking for.

Elphaba17 · 01/12/2025 07:42

30% off bears at Build a Bear with code cybermonday. Just got DS the capybara for £18.20.

TheBigBagBabes · 01/12/2025 07:43

Are they brushed cotton? Or sweatshirt material? Or fleece (possibly not as that is fluffy)?
