This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

For anyone who ordered the rugby boots when the glitch offer was on, I’ve just had an email to say Evri are expecting my parcel so looks like they are honouring the price but let’s see what arrives in a few days! 🤞

Just tried to order a Fahlo bracelet but the 10% discount is not being applied

Someone asked about Christmas themed crocs, as well as the Aldi ones I posted about the other day Primark have these ones in store

I've always bought my fahlo bracelets from this lovely gift shop in Cornwall and they are a good price atm. Amazon and some other gift shops and charities also sell them but never seemingly on offer.

Fahlo did a buy 2 get 2 free offer a free years ago - and I think buy two get one free last year. 10% off is a but miserly in comparison.

Talisin · 20/11/2025 14:50

Fiorelli has 40% off sitewide with code BLACK40 - full price items only.

Do you know if I buy 3 x turtle bracelets for my 3 children will they track 3 different turtles? It might be a bit boring if they're all tracking the same turtle and if so I'll get 3 different types! Thank you

I would imagine it would track three different ones but I've not tried it, mine just gets a different one each time and watch each others.

For others asking, yes it's an app, should be usable on any android or apple phone or tablet. I don't know about delivery as we buy them from the local wildlife park gift shop.

If you want one that travels a lot, go for a whale! DS's started up by Norway, went past the coast of Ireland, down to the South Atlantic and back again. It then "lost it's tracker" 😭 and we were allocated a new one.

The 10% seems to be just a general welcome offer if you sign up.

The offer worked when I put the code in, but I think ill wait til next week to buy to see if they put any better offers on.

Are there any discount codes for Argos floating around? Sorry if I’m looking in the wrong place - I think I’ve seen them here before.

DD has three medium Jellycats - smudge monkey, smudge hippo and bashful giraffe - on her list, none of which I can find in stock anywhere. She only wants one but gave me three options in the hope I could find one of them, but I've been looking for weeks and can't find them😬

I have stock alerts set up, but if anyone sees them, please can you tag me?

She's got a February birthday so maybe they'll come back into stock by then!

@whoknows1230 vinted and ebay are full of fakes. Your best bet is to join the Facebook group 'Jellycat UK “The Plush Life” for genuine collectors' as you can get them on there.

Fetcha are expensive but wonderful.
Otherly oat milk salted caramel truffles are amazing. They do great chocolate in general but the truffles are next level.

RE Yoto
We have the mini which we bought for DD who was 6/7 at the time to replace a Tonibox, it has been the best purchase ever. She listens every night (all night but if it helps her sleep... 🙏) and takes it on car journeys etc, we've had no need for the larger one and I can see it lasting a few more years still, the cards are more grown up than the Tonies

fruitfly3 · 20/11/2025 16:30

@Jess26385 thanks for the bracelet recommendation. My children would LOVE these. Quick question - when you look at the tracking, is it just a ma of where they are? Assuming you can’t see the animals or its surrounding?

p shine is the one I’ve heard my niece mention. No idea how good it is or this website though!

doistayordoigo · 20/11/2025 16:37

Thanks for these threads every year 🙂

Couple of quick questions...is the Calvin Klein Eternity on Amazon nice, as in does it smell good?

And secondly, I'm trying to find a solid mouse mat, as opposed to one of the soft ones that would flop around. I'm not having much luck online as it's hard to tell if they're hard or not. Would particularly like a South Park one but might consider another design as well at this point!

Blessedbethefruitz · 20/11/2025 16:39

For the yoto vs yoto mini question - my dd got a mini last xmas at almost 3 and loved it. My ds got 1 a few weeks later for his birthday and also uses it daily (almost 6 then). The mini are fine for us, the kids listen exclusively to music though, and entirely myo cards. They dont care for the pricey proper cards ive bought!

It's like Google Earth with a dot for where they are and a line through their previous tracked locations. Most seem to update every day or two , and occasionally you get a little video, picture or article. These can be about your animal, about the species in general or about the conservation work being done. You also start with a little bit of info about your individual animal like their name, age, if they have a family group, etc.

Would be super cool if you could zoom in and actually see!

I'm assuming the recipient registers on the app if this is a gift?
Just realised I've bought one in my name!

STom2 · 20/11/2025 16:48

Made an order through chuckling cheese for one of their gift boxes. For future dated delivery. Signed up for the 10% off code but it actually took 22% (?) off my order. Added some cheese dor myself to bring total back above the £20 for free delivery.

STom2 · 20/11/2025 16:50

Just to add, I used the code that was sent to me by text, which appears to be a totally different code to a 10% one they sent me by email.

noodledoodler · 20/11/2025 16:55

Someone was asking for a Celtic and co code, XMAS25 gives £20 off over £20 spend, sorry if I’m repeating, did scroll
back a bit to look

dancemom · 20/11/2025 17:04

Has anyone seen a naice tin of biscuits or chocolates or shortbread, friend appreciates a pretty tin and I appreciate a bargain 🤞🏼

N96 · 20/11/2025 17:09

Can anyone help with a recommendation for one of those grabbing claw machines that actually works. I have seen so many different ones but many reviews are poor. Asking for a five year old who is desperate for Santa to bring him one.
Any help would be appreciated.
