This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

I’ve just bought eternity aftershave for DS1 for £12.90, looks like a lowest ever price on Amazon according to the Camels

https://amzn.eu/d/3qUh8yx

Thanks that’s a great price just ordered a few for the men on my list

Thank you

DD is into animal conservation, and has a tablet (she's disabled but can operate it) -

I just can't decide which animal to get - I tried to ask discreetly and she just said "all of them" 😁

My girl loves them. We have 7 and she has asked for more for Christmas. She loved the video about her animals and checks on the regularly. She has a special interest for animal and the environment and these bracelets really mean a lot to her.

Amazing thank you! I missed this, this morning and wasn’t even going to scroll back in the thread and I’m so glad I did or wouldn’t have got this!

Am I dreaming this or a few years back did everyone buy owl poop pellets?! 😅 I’m currently in the market for some 🤣 so if anyone remembers the site and could point me in the right direction that would be lovely! 🦉 🎄

DS1 has asked for an eye-wateringly expensive LEGO for his birthday (the X-Men Mansion 76294)
Its available on Wilko, Disney Store, Game or Robert Dyas
Does anyone know of a code for any of those places at all please?
I’d normally say it’s out of budget but he’s had a hard year so I’d like to try

It’s also available at Disney store and they often do 20% discount codes

Do they stock it at Smyths? If you have one near they have £5 off £50 and £10 off £100 at the moment

Not sure if you are on vinted but I have managed to purchase brand new sets, some of the expensive ones, half price there.

I'm tempted to get these for my daughters following all the recommendations. Can you recommend any particular ones? Like any which have particularly exciting journeys? Preferably live ones?

Both my kids collect the Fahlo bracelets, though both use the app on my phone with the same account. I thought they'd find it boring once they realised that the bracelets don't do anything but they're always asking for more
Just a pointer though, if you go for an animal that is hunted by poachers or extremely endangered, it uses old tracking data to protect the animals. DD has an elephant that is 4 months behind and DS has a wolf that simply says "historical data". They both understand why and agree with it but we're a little disappointed as they like the idea of knowing where the animals are now.

Do you know if I buy 3 x turtle bracelets for my 3 children will they track 3 different turtles? It might be a bit boring if they're all tracking the same turtle and if so I'll get 3 different types! Thank you

Thank you so much for the Anthropologie tip I got my £20 off this morning and it’s stacks with the 25 percent off for Black Friday

How have you managed this? Struggling with my voucher. Figured it was because terms said it doesn't stack with other promos, so I tried logging out and just using voucher (without 25% off) but not working. Keeps saying it's added the voucher but not reducing price. Have tried on single items (really just want one of their candles), but not having any luck 🤪

STom2 · 20/11/2025 13:32

mummydoris2006 · 20/11/2025 11:18

I received my anthroperks voucher this morning and went to place an order, it accepted the code but didn't update the basket total so I used the online chat and this was their response. It's fair enough, they're literally giving you something for nothing but I wanted to use it for a Christmas gift that's dearer with the 25% off than full price with the voucher unfortunately.

Ah OK ignore my last question! Catching up. Thank you for clarifying 😊

Funnily enough I only posted about this yesterday! It was the barn owl trust website or ive seen them a little cheaper on ebay as well.

whoknows1230 · 20/11/2025 13:37

DD has three medium Jellycats - smudge monkey, smudge hippo and bashful giraffe - on her list, none of which I can find in stock anywhere. She only wants one but gave me three options in the hope I could find one of them, but I've been looking for weeks and can't find them😬

I have stock alerts set up, but if anyone sees them, please can you tag me?

She's got a February birthday so maybe they'll come back into stock by then!

Would Vinted be an option?

this is my thought, I'd like one that moves around a lot - I was thinking penguin or other sea based ones might be best?

Thank you, I will have a look. There are a lot on eBay but I thought they might be fakes. Hadn't considered Vinted though.

Looking for recommendations for nice vegan chocolate if anyone has seen anything nice please?

Cos1970 · 20/11/2025 14:00

Saw these two toys in Primark earlier today and thought they were a good cheaper alternative to Christmas themed jellycat toys

Cyberjammies 30% off almost everything. Discount declines daily.

zacsGranny · 20/11/2025 14:04

Looking at the Fahlo bracelets for a Grandson.
Two questions - how long to arrive?
Do they need any particular phone? Is it an app you download?

(10% off seems OK)

Another Yoto question! My DD is 7, loves her Toniebox but needs some new Tonies. There are some she’d like, but am I better to bite the bullet and get a Yoto now instead of buying new Tonies? How long did your kids still enjoy them for? Thank you!

My daughter is 6 and we recently got the Yoto to replace her toniebox. I absolutely love it. She loves the daily podcast and has a couple of meditation cards she listens to daily. absolute brilliant buy. I'm so glad we made the move.
