This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

A few threads ago someone recommended an online store selling geeky stuff for history/science fans... can anyone remember what it was? I wanted to keep an eye on it in case they have a BF sale to get something for my brother but forgot to bookmark it. Thanks

Sephora have Black Friday deals on a lot of sol de Janeiro and a free gift if you spend over £40. Decent deal if you’ve got a tween/teenager.

Does the smyths offer apply to Lego? Can't get the t's and c's to open before I head out with a horrific cold!

Thisisthedream · 21/11/2025 08:45

@shinny
The personalised football I ordered was from Mitre. I received it within 48 hours and I'm really pleased with the quality. I ordered size 4 as thats the recommended size for my son's age.

@ThisAmberLurkeri used it last night on 2 pairs of insoles. Cost me about £15 including postage

Wolfcub · 21/11/2025 08:55

Journey10 works as a discount on the Passenger Outlet, I’m assuming it works on the rest of the site too.

I love this company for Escape Rooms in an envelope. I have teenage DCs and they’re great for a family game. They have 20% off for BF and 10% off for new sign ups.

@deeplybaffled I’ve previously recommended this one. It’s very moist and alcoholic. Have been buying it for 15+ years and always goes down well.

Anyone know of any companies that send either shortbread hampers or fudge?

I know of deans but the rest is overwhelming

I think it does as we bought Lego last year when the offer was on x

villamariavintrapp · 21/11/2025 09:11

Really pleased with my Didriksons coat-thanks to whoever recommended. There are still some on Sportspursuit.

Yes I think it was this one, thanks a lot! Do you know if they usually have any BF offers?

PearlTeapot · 21/11/2025 09:20

Happy Socks have 30% whole site for Black Friday (they also sell cute boxers!) and you can sign up as a new customer for another 10% off, and they stack.

Says prices set to 1st Dec so shouldn't drop anymore.

I got 4 pairs delivered for £30. Bargain. DW loves them.

hugsandpugs · 21/11/2025 09:38

£20 off a £40 spend with Asda groceries when you set up a new account.

They email you the code within 2 hours - make sure to select the tick box when signing up to be notified of offers etc.

Just used mine on a click and collect order later today. Was tempted to order gift sets etc for Xmas but was worried they would be out of stock and that I’d lose the discount 😅🤣 so I ended up ordering some food shopping instead.

Tigger83 · 21/11/2025 09:55

To confirm it does include Lego

The camels just informed me that Interactive Hedwig is now £20.99. A year too late for me, but hopefully useful to someone! Usually sits around £35-39.99.

Also, I bought 8 copies of Donna Ashworth's To the Women this morning as it is just the most gorgeous book and incredible at that price (£6.08). I love dipping into it and know those I am gifting it to will be too ❤️

Nearly there with my shopping now 😃

thanks for the recommendation of ‘to the women’ - saw it Sainsbury’s for £6 and picked it up, probably for myself 🤣

I'm a bit behind on the thread, so apologies if someone has already posted about this. TopCashBack are giving 30% cashback on orders from MyProtein today. MyProtein have an up to 70% sale on with an additional 10% off with code MORE (which is allowable with TopCashBack). Pretty good if you have gym bunnies to buy for - protein powders, supplements and exercise wear.

Thankyou! I have just got DSS some half price protein cookies Grin

For those looking for KPOP demon hunters it looks like Bershka have done a colab and have some stuff in. I’ve just had an email about it.

I used it on a massive Lego set for my eldest the other day.

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 21/11/2025 10:16

Can anyone recommend a make your own neon sign kit? I think my son would enjoy one for his room but there are so many and would rather buy one that someone has recommened.
