This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

@BravoBuild sorry I can’t help but watching to see if anyone helps you. I’d love some socks for adult ds with pics of our dog on but would like a recommendation before buying!

Me too!

@MamaClausToTheRescue I’ve got an email from Raven Forge offering me the chance to win a replica of Gandalf’s sword (simply by making a purchase on their site) but appreciate swords might not be the way to go for gifting!!
previously DH has got a nice mug from truffle shuffle before with a map of middle earth on it

Have now gone down a Raven Forge (blood)rabbit hole - thanks for that! I know so many people who’d appreciate the cheese axes, or indeed the pizza axe…

FurForksSake · 16/11/2025 14:26

The Greatest Snowman at Amazon has got a decent discount, it looks really sweet from Nick Butterworth (Percy’s park books). Currently £3.79

Asda have LOTR t shirts and shorts PJs.
Harper Collins have 40% off with BLACKFRIDAY40 and they are Tolkien’s publisher.
Boots have a mug in their 342 that changes with heat.

Thanks @Arregaithel and @HalfasleepChrisintheMorning - these are great. I’m on the case now!

and yes actually a sword is on his list believe it or not 🤣

Decent price for It’s not my Christmas tree with twinkling lights on Amazon. I saw it in Dunelm yesterday but refused to pay £12 for it there.

Thanks for this - have just suggested it to my neighbour for her newly turned 1 year old. We’ve bought him the Jolly Christmas Postman from us.

HeadyLamarr · 16/11/2025 14:36

Re - Harper Collins 40% with BLACKFRIDAY40 code -

Harper Collins have some some beautiful reissues of classics like Pride and Prej and Jane Eyre with painted covers that are included in the 40% offer, so if you have a book lover who'd enjoy an attractive edition of an old favourite with a typeface easier on the eye than the old Penguin Classics typeface, it would make a nice gift.
My DS got me the Persuasion edition for my birthday and it's lovely.

Free postage above £25, and I got some bargains like the £35 Anime Archives for £21 for my DS, the MapsMen book about maps that went wrong for my Dad for a tenner and some Holly Jackson (Good Girl's Guide to Murder series) paperbacks for DD at £6 a pop.

Smellslikeperfume · 16/11/2025 14:39

Has anyone seen any bargain Crocs , men’s with fur lining pls? Just about to catch up on thread now but not seen any super bargains yet. Loads of nice Christmas pjs at Aldi but not the sizes I wanted sadly

Thanks for the personalised football idea mitre also tracks on TCB

Sequence is only £11.75 on Amazon dropped to £16 on Friday same as Argos but dropped in price again last night. Ive not had chance to play yet so can't recommend the game but if it was already on your radar might be a bargain.

Seem to be a lot of good offers at the Perfume Shop at the moment. Bought this perfume for my niece who loves anything in an original bottle: https://www.theperfumeshop.com/anna-sui/sky/eau-de-toilette-spray/p/15581EDTJU
Found that I had a £5 off voucher as Teir 1 member (I've only ordered there once before I think) and I could use it with my 15% student discount meaning it was under £8.

Dolphintrainer · 16/11/2025 15:17

@lemonsmum I can totally recommend Sequence, we love it in our family! Bargain!

Threeboystwocatsandadog · 16/11/2025 15:28

Freemans was mentioned for pyjamas at the end of the last thread. They have 20% off and free delivery with code FQ9P, ends midnight and excludes electricals and selected ranges.

Thanks SO much ordered. I saw whilst I was on that the original Blockus and this newer one both down to £12.99, lowest it's been in 30 days, apparently. We love Blokus & I've gifted it many times. I've just ordered 2 more & this new one too.https://amzn.eu/d/g5lZdXS

DS13 would absolutely love a sword but I know he’d want to wave it around a lot🤣
His friend is year 11 and I find the pair of them play sword fighting fairly regularly.

Just realised this sounds extremely dodgy but I promise it’s plastic lightsabers they wave, at least as far as I know!

Gym shark black Fri sale started at 4pm but it looks like the site has crashed. Has anyone got on?

HalfasleepChrisintheMorning · 16/11/2025 16:51

Actually just checked and when I bought it it was still £79.99 as now but had a voucher which when applied made it £66. Just saying in case vouchers don’t show up on Camel, might be an idea to add to your basket and check frequently?

I got on via the app

TheCrow · 16/11/2025 17:16

Seen some good bargains on aftershaves and fragrances in TK Maxx, around £15-25 for things with an RRP of £50-60. They also had Paco Rabanne 1 Million for £45 which is a good price. Seems like a random selection and probably older fragrances but some decent brands

DS used to love waving swords, sticks etc around as a little boy. I always told him not to!

He did actually go on to do fencing as a hobby at one point at secondary school!
