Posting on behalf of the lovely @Reastie

This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

Mariah will be singing All I want for Christmas before we know it, and it's only 46 days until Christmas, so let's get those bargains, folks!

@WimbyAce

I did not know about it until the cashier told me when I did click and collect. It was a range of toys near the till quite a mixed range.
I googled and found a fb post about it from September and also this …

Seems a little published thing!

Did your click and collect count as an 'in-store' purchase, or did you have to buy something else?
Asking as I have a click and collect to pick up at the weekend!

Massive and humongous thank you to the posters who recommended QVC for the Neom oils. Having to buy a 10 set means I’ll get to keep some for myself! 🤪. Much appreciated

I'm very slow being organised this year - normally I’m done by now but suddenly feel like I have no ideas for gifts & it used to be almost my superpower!

here’s my go to idea for a stocking filler for any glasses folk - you send a photo & they print it on a glasses cloth - always gone down well when I’ve gifted one! Hopefully it’s useful to someone 😁

have you a link for the glasses cleaner please

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 12/11/2025 17:18

@VikingNorthUtsire my morrisons usually have the dark ones (they are my favourite too!) Didn't look today at normal section for them but the offer stand only had the original ones but the advertising did say included dark, mint and possibly the plain

CAMHShelp · 12/11/2025 15:27

Thanks, I have a few things to get from there. Was waiting for Black Friday

Also would recommend Notino, I heard about it from these threads and managed to get Jimmy Choo I choose you for something ridiculous like £20 last year - also a discount if you sign up to their mailing list

Does anyone know where I can get some cheap syrups for coffees? My DD has started drinking flavoured coffees and loves any flavoured coffee, but don't want to shell out a lot if it just a phase

This is a lovely set for £8.50

I wonder if this is nationwide as can't see anything about it. What other toys did they have?

I ordered afew things last night and before checkout got the £5 offers

CAMHShelp · 12/11/2025 17:59

IlovePond · 12/11/2025 16:26

@CAMHShelp - I would say GRUUM could be unisex, but please be aware that a lot of their stuff - imo - has a very vegetable oil/almost off smell to it. It’s one of those companies whose products some people like, but a lot of people don’t. (I personally don’t mind their lavender sleep/calm spray, but that’s about it for me.)

I agree with previous posters re: price - GRUUM claim to have discounted their stuff but it’s always either heavily discounted, (i.e. it’s that price 99% of the time, but they say it’s reduced), or, in the case of the smaller sets, given away free with just P&P to pay. (Presumably they sell stuff at the higher price just long enough to be able to advertise the reductions.)

Re: Your other query

I second Allbeauty.com - it’s an excellent and legitimate site. Look Fantastic can be good too, (I don’t know if they stock Armani perfume), and it’s always worth checking TKMAXX.

I would personally stay away from eBay or Amazon for perfume as there are too many fakes around online.

Edited

Thanks, I’ll steer clear!

Thanks @Justhereforthechristmasthreads

Another question from me, how are people getting free shipping on Amazon Haul for really cheap orders? I'm finding it's adding postage if the total after the discount code is less than £15.

HollerWithTheRinsinSound · 12/11/2025 18:12

VikingNorthUtsire · 12/11/2025 17:01

Did you happen to notice if they have the dark choc ones? 🙏 They're getting harder to find and only seem to be £2+ everywhere

They did and I have. They are the superior kind - and also luckily for me and paramount - I am the only one in my entire house who likes them.

They also had the normal - and mint and caramel but ewww.

SomeFiggyPudding · 12/11/2025 18:17

Who was the pp who was asking about lankybox surprise bags at The Range? I just wanted to say I’ve got a Range in my town, happy to go and have a look and send some to you if you need some x

I have done several orders and so long as you get to £15 before discount it doesn’t charge postage.

Home Bargains have lots of flavours, usually about £1 a bottle. I like the vanilla and caramel flavours

Thank you. I realise I swapped an item fir a similar (but better) choice and took my pre-discount total down to £14.68 😩

Home bargains has some; toffee and hazelnut. I put them in my hot chocolate and they’re pretty good. Also tk max but pricier from memory

Yeah, I was looking for something for 22p last night to take my order up to £15. Annoying that everything in the £1 and under section was classed as a “mini steal” so wouldn’t let me check it out 🙄

Does anyone know if any shops like B&M, Home Bargains, Poundland have any Asian sweets / snacks?

I haven’t seen any in home bargains or B&M but sometimes Lidl have them, I think they have Japanese food at the moment, they change to a different country every couple of weeks.

Want to get an Armani aftershave but struggling to know which sites are authentic, I don’t want to buy a rip off version

It's worth checking very, superdrug and boots for offers.

Omg thanks @Arregaithel ideally a 5 but wondering if I can get away with a 5.5 as that is an amazing price!

Privateeyedriver · 12/11/2025 19:20

Superdrug has an early Black Friday sale. Lots of perfumes heavily discounted

begonia27 · 12/11/2025 19:21

Thank you for the Entertainer tip off! For £80 I have ordered 6 board games, some stocking filler bits, and got a Raccoon grab game for £5. They just offered a choice of 2 games discounted to £5 but I was happy with that. I was so delighted that I happily contributed £5 to their Salvation Army toy scheme!

i got some Hugo boss from a beauty base shop. Boots had it for £46 (I think) with 25% off. I went a few shops down and they had it for £22!!

the Armani offers don’t look quite so good, unless it was diamond you were after

Also if you're looking for unsettlingly sexy/nude/creepy Santas, The Range has you covered! Disco Santa, cowboy santa wrapping paper, Santa in the bath and naked Santa wrapping paper all spotted there today

That would have been brilliant for my teens.
I’ve made so many errors with wrapping paper this year

Sainsbury’s has a great range, some are better than others. Or if you’ve got a kenji near you?
