@zacsGranny how are you getting on with your Fiorelli bag. I received my refund notification today.

I know last year there were deals dropping in November in the weeks running up to actual black Fri not just on the day but I am getting lots of emails talking about Black Friday is nearly here. Er, it's a month early then?! Argos and Boots in particular. The former sent me a count down to this coming Friday! Do we think they all got together and said let's do it earlier this year?! Or is it just me? Finding it a bit disconcerting but I'm not good with change😁

@ChristmasJumperz i raised an eyebrow at the Boots messaging too! I think it's less that they've all got together and more that they are all poised like lemmings on the cliff and as soon as one goes, they all go...! Been a bad year for a lot of retailers, big and small, so I guess I can't blame them for wanting to get the jump on others.

Plus I think Black Friday gets bigger every year. I mean it just didn't really exist here, what, 10 years ago? And even in the US it was originally just a bricks and mortar thing, not online.

I think last year retailers said black friday doesn't rely work for them as it means people wait late in the season to shop and the delivery people get overwhelmed. So they started early. Only problem was some retailers then went even lower on black friday (looking at you boden), which certainly doesn't inspire me to stop earlier this year.

Annoyingly I feel like this time of year lots of things get more expensive so they can "drop" the price in a few weeks.

Just had my Degusta advent calendar delivered in case anyone else ordered and is waiting for theirs , no email to say it was coming today , arrived by EVRI.

Home Bargains had a gromit cuddly toy in store today , £3.99 , which seemed like a bargain if you needed one , online if you wanted to check it out

When I tried to start a refund and return there was no option to have it picked up, and the DHL depot is too far away for me to drop it off.
I tried to contact them about this, but again no response.
I decided I had nothing to lose, so I have cleaned the marks off and it seems OK. If they come back, I'll do a refund through my bank on the grounds that Fiorelli have failed to respond to multiple emails and phone calls over a week.

Very disappointed with this company.

Please could I ask what the BL code for the PS5 is? It's on my to buy list so batting that brings the price down will help. I have UNiDAYS if it is something from there

The last couple of years all my best bargains have come before Black Friday so I plan to have most of my shopping done by the time it comes round.

Same as DS, @hugsandpugs. Bamboo socks are our go to for him. They were poor though.

ETA: Bamboo Clothing (BAM) are dear, but they last a long time.

DS loves these, I find them thin but fine rather than flimsy. I get the relaxed cuff ones as he hates socks with a passion

Second BAM, i got my DH a pair of their shorts about two years ago (PJ/ lounge wear type things) and despite the man being an absolute menace to all clothing, they are still looking pretty good.

Asking for my own Christmas list. I need an artificial spider plant that isn't palstic looking and has a long trail of babies. At the moment I have a magnificent specimen on a top shelf in my bathroom.
