Hope you're all well. I've just put in a big Temu order for stocking bits and bits for work. They gave me £8 off my next order yesterday as two orders I had are arriving late and, when I contacted customer services about something, they also gave me a 20% off voucher, so I saved £20 on my order!

@pinkksugarmouse he does my gardening for me and I give him cash for that so I feel like I should give him an actual gift. Maybe £30 in an envelope and I can wrap it up with a big bar of chocolate and we'll both be happy!

I received my free wax melts, they are so nice, I'll be ordering more from there. I also received my sunshine notebooks, again fantastic and will order from her again. My scarves and skull tote bag, they're for gifts but I really want to keep them 😆. I also ordered a print from here Prints she has some super seconds pieces left, I'm so pleased with it that I've already ordered a second the hare this time.

I got this on a good offer from Very last year so keep an eye on there.

You know those are AI generated right? The 'artist' is not making them herself? It says so in the details...

Just wanted to point it out as you might not realise and I know lots of people don't like supporting 'artists' who use AI instead of proper artists.

Has anyone seen any packs of sheet Christmas wrapping paper like Wilko's used to sell please? I miss Wilko's at the best of times but especially at Christmas.

Just back from an English Heritage property who were holding a secondhand book sale and someone had made up a little crafting pack consisting of a secondhand book and instructions of how to fold the pages to create a paper book art. The designs they had (one per book - the whole book is needed to make one design) included a hedgehog, house, teacup with a flower I can’t remember the others - for £3.50 (for charity). It struck me that the instructions are probably easily available on the internet sooooo people could make lovely sustainable gifts themselves by choosing an appropriate used book, typing out/downloading the instructions for a design onto paper and putting a picture of the finished article together in an envelope to make a fab little stocking filler or main gift for someone. I’m very happy with mine and I know the recipients will love making them!

My 3 for 2 Solace jewellery earrings came today. They were in beautiful little fabric pouches even though I didn’t opt for the gift wrapping. I’d bought 2 for DM and kept a pair for myself.

I bought the flat backs and I will say that they are very small. I’m not sure if DM is going to be able to put them in as they are tiny and require screwing in the backs. It took me about 10 mins to get mine in on one side. Just a word of warning if buying for someone with dexterity/arm/steady hand issues.

Thank you for the Pintail candles recommendation, whoever that was! Mine arrived today including a present for myself 😂 - the log fire candle, which is an absolute dupe for the Diptyque Feu de Bois which I always crave at autumn but is a ridiculous price! So I'm delighted!
