This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Hope you're all well. I've just put in a big Temu order for stocking bits and bits for work. They gave me £8 off my next order yesterday as two orders I had are arriving late and, when I contacted customer services about something, they also gave me a 20% off voucher, so I saved £20 on my order!

Thank you for this. Was the £10 code a generic one?

It was one that was emailed to me but worth a try? The code was OURBAD10

AuntieDen · 16/10/2025 15:52

Dolphintrainer · 16/10/2025 13:38

@auntieDen I can’t seem to get the code to work for me, I’ve put the chocolate and a standard card in my basket but it’s not valid for any discounts or free delivery unfortunately.

ah sorry - I haven't tried yet because I only saw the email while I'm at work - will try this evening and see if i can get it to work!

Fuckingfuckssake · 16/10/2025 15:56

Posted too soon, this was shared yesterday I think? Don’t forget 20% cashback at George if you opt in with PayPal plus whatever TCB/Quidco are offering today.

Harper Collins doing 50% off all books tomorrow- with code BOOKS50

Londonmummy66 · 16/10/2025 18:22

I posted these on the "posh crackers" thread but thought they might be of interest here as well - nutcracker crackers with ornaments inside £7.40 for 6 and 12 Days of Christmas crackers with a charades game rather than a gift - £5.20 for 12. They also have some stocking fillers for musicians including a pocket sized manuscript notebook for 40p. Makes the 2.99 delivery charge a little more bearable... https://www.musicroom.com/search?q=christmas+crackers

Does anyone know where I can get some cheap SpongeBob toys? My son has become obsessed with SpongeBob and wants them for Christmas, but a lot is either sold out or expensive!!!!! Looking for cheaper as he doesn't take care of his toys, would prefer to be new in box

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 16/10/2025 18:57

@ChristmasMad1 Smyths toys had a surprising amount of SpongeBob stuff, or so I thought for such an old show!

And Primark have some cool Patrick Star bath bombs.

Has anyone without an Ocado pass managed to book a Christmas slot yet? I can't see any concrete info about when it should be open.

Yes I booked mine last week without a pass.

Debenhams is messing with my brain . I have a couple of items in my basket that have changed price every day . This morning they were both half price , plus a free delivery code , didn’t have time to order before work so went on to order when I got back and they are full price again . I didn’t realise they changed prices during the day , I assumed it would just be overnight.

FOBIthefearobeingincluded · 16/10/2025 20:26

It was posted earlier £33.60 will get you 3 x Lancôme mascara minis which trigger 2 free gifts make up remover (£21) and a hydrating gift set that looks decent.

Anyone received their American Candy order or do I need to report to my credit card?

Robert Frederick has 50% off Very Hungry Caterpillar gifts. Free delivery over £30. I’ve ordered from them previously without any problems, they have a nice range of items. www.robert-frederick.co.uk/pages/world-of-eric-carle?mc_cid=899f9047e4&mc_eid=1ec3da2d2b

IlovePond · 16/10/2025 20:32

I’m a bit confused why the Boots Lancôme offer is working if you just buy mascara when the t&c say one item has to be skincare.

If it’s a glitch, I hope Boots honour it, as it’s a good deal.

It’s currently in my basket, but I am trying to restrain myself!

I purchased the 2 mini mascaras and received the free gift. It's ready for me to collect.
