Other one seems to be filling up fast!

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread <a class="break-all" href="https://_[[//https//www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Thank you to PP for the essence vault tip. It’s all arrived and what I’ve tried so far is lovely.

CharlieWeasley · 27/09/2025 12:31

I've got a few tricky people to buy for and remember seeing the cylinder tins of fortnum and mason biscuits recommended in previous years. Anyone know if they ever do free delivery offers or money off?

@BerfyTigot (username made me laugh) - Rolife booknooks are great quality, can get them on Amazon. If they are overseas potentially even could buy to have sent direct? (Some places actually have them much cheaper, depending on where they live).

My DD has said she wants a SUPER soft blanket for her bed. Or more accurately she's said "A fluffy one, like super super soft and fluffy". Any suggestions??

Dh came back from the shops with one of these for me this morning 😍 Dunelm. It is indeed super soft! Oh and he said for some reason the 160x130 size was £40 but 130x160 was only £20 🤔
They do a non-heated version too.

OutingHobbyWife · 27/09/2025 12:34

Gah! Forgot to add the pic Blush

Doesn't seem to be working for me - "Teddy Bear Super Soft Electric Throw"

BeaLola · 27/09/2025 12:44

It's worth looking on Amazon for perfumes - I often buy Estée Lauder Knowing on there as it's usually much cheaper than anywhere else

Stupidly lost the link to the lollipop red lamp a few days ago.

Great thread got some really different gifts thanks all.

VeruccaSalty · 27/09/2025 13:42

Not exactly Xmassy but JACKPOT should take 20% off ‘must have ideas’ which has some great cleaning products

hby9628 · 27/09/2025 14:36

If anyone passes The Works it’s worth popping in. I got
Sloth Diamond Painting set £3
Mini clay bakery £3.50 (my daughter wanted this last year but it had sold out so we pleased with this!)
Hello Kitty Postit set £2
Hello Kitty Pen, Ruler & Pencil set £1
xmas wordsearch book £1

Goingincirclesstill · 27/09/2025 14:41

Keep an eye out for House of Fraser shops closing near you....large one in main shopping centre closing with 20% off everything and lots with 50% off. Got branded sunglasses for £70 not £140 and all shoes and trainers were half price

Goingincirclesstill · 27/09/2025 14:48

Some nice hampers on offer from Laithwaite's when the pictures upload. This one was £34 instead of £50 with small bottles and treats. Think there was a larger one for £50 instead of £70ish. Various codes on referral page for £40 off first £80 which made it even better!

Argh. This has gone into the wrong thread 😳🤪🙄
Anyone else finding that if they use their phone to look at mumsnet it’s very sensitive to the thread being swiped across and moving to a different thread?!
Will report and see if I can get someone at mumsnet towers to move it to the right place!

CarrotVan · 27/09/2025 15:17

Can anyone remind me of the good fidget toy website?

Thank you for this! I got some Elf Tape which I’ve been coveting all year on BOGOF plus a little adjustable table with the discount.

If anyone else is confused by how to get the tape offer, I called to check as it was coming up as full price for 2 rolls. Add one roll to your basket and they’ll send the free one with it. If you order 2 rolls you’ll get 4!

Do dunelm have sales on at any point or can anyone recommend a good toddler chair
The current price of £55 just feels excessive.

I like the sound of elf tape but what site please?

SugarCookieMonster · 27/09/2025 16:14

@ILoveCatsAndKittens it’s Must Have Ideas. The Elf tape is super strong for hanging decorations that you can use indoors and outside.

My husband has an account with them and put everything he needed to order in a basket but didn’t check out straight away as he was waiting for his payday. A couple of days later he was sent a 20% off code to his email. So you could try this? They do birthday codes but they have to be 3 weeks later than the sign up date or something like that.

UNiDAYS is currently 10% off online orders over £40.

NancyCarey · 27/09/2025 17:39

I’ve posted before about these rechargeable handwarmers being great stocking fillers and I expect that during Black Friday and nearer Christmas you’ll be able to pick up the plain ones for less than £10 on offer, but I just spotted these cuter versions for a reasonable price in the meantime.

The avocado ones are on a limited time offer at the moment so the price will likely go back up.

Froggy version £9.99 amzn.eu/d/aVy2Oru

Cute avocado version £13.99 https://amzn.eu/d/eIbZdJK

Cat paw version £12.99 https://amzn.eu/d/90EhOZU

@CharlieWeasley I think they're slightly cheaper if you go for the subscription but you'd have to weigh up costs as the first one you pay a postage. They also have a few click and collect locations so might be worth seeing if there's one you can get someone to collect from.
