@yalz I too have also witnessed the same in m&s!!! Crazy isn't it?! It's unfair on the genuine customers only wanting to purchase items for themselves or as gifts and save themselves a bit of money. I love a bargain, I even get a bit of a buzz from it, but I know not to take the p!ss

I’ve had those crayola sets in my basket for days and just remembered about them - now back to £25 😭

I would imagine they have just put the prices back up because Prime Day is due soon.

Disappointed by John Lewis having all the bargains as “express checkout” only- as if you’re going to spend £4.50 on each item for delivery… kind of offsets the bargain!!!

Yes, feels like they’ve lost the plot a bit. If things are only available to be sent from a store then they shouldn’t bother to put them on the website.

It does say “This is a trial service. We'll keep you updated on the progress of your order by email.”

Perhaps they will decide it’s a trial they won’t continue. I can sort-of see the point, if things aren’t available in the warehouse and customers really want them, Jl is providing a service which is more faff for them and so the customer has to pay for it. That doesn’t explain why you can’t buy multiples of the same product, though, unless each branch has only one.

At a wedding at the weekend I was chatting to someone I know but rarely see who now works at JL. I should have asked him about it then.

Home bargains have a four piece Elemis set apparently RRP £327 for £69.99

Hi everyone, I remember last year people recommending milk frothers, but I can’t find which brands or types were most recommended. Does anyone have one they use often? TIA for any advice!

@InbetweenDreams I have tried a few milk frothers and most have failed within 6 months. I have the Lavazza A Modo Mio
and definitely the best so far, we use it a few times everyday. Might be on Amazon prime day sales next week 🤞

My local Home Bargains had Decleor minis in this morning. Couldn't take a photo but prices were under £2. Might be useful stocking fillers when the time comes.

Also, Sparks offers are filtering through again! I've a couple including 20% off nightwear and womenswear and now includes online orders. It's still home delivery only at the moment but I've a Sparks for free home delivery too. So it's worth checking your offers.

@InbetweenDreams we initially had the Aldi one which was ok but I broke it when washing it (had a moment and submerged it in water)

Could I please ask for assistance getting a special GCSE results present for a friends daughter? She’s 16 and my budget is around £50. Things are very tight money wise for the family and her mum doesn’t let me buy bday gifts for them so this is my one chance to spoil her and I want to get it right! She’s very into whatever is trending- the mum managed to get a tiny bottle of Sol de janiero at Christmas and the daughter was ecstatic.
