Evening all!

Welcome to the first prequel thread of 2025

These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Happy Christmas Bargain Shopping!

@LePetitMamando they have a theatre near them that do behind the scenes tours? If they happen to be near York the grand opera house does them with a cream tea afterwards.

or what about making up your own theatre related goodie bag? Something like this bag https://amzn.eu/d/0BIkYSK then filled with things like https://amzn.eu/d/5VPil3B https://amzn.eu/d/iw6Q64N and anything else related.

Indeed. I've got no clue. My 5yos are very immature. DS would play with baby toys if I let him.

I've got no idea what to get this little girl. I'll start another thread so I don't hijack this one

I would just raid Claire's for this one tbh!

Hello!
I am looking for a step counter for a 7 year old please. I'm sure there was talk of a watch style one on this thread? Can anyone recommend please?
Not wanting to spend too much please.
Thanks all!

My 12 and 17 year olds have this one. It's a smart watch which connects to their phones so might be a bit more than you need, but they do like it. It's about £35 (varies by colour, pink and pale blue also available) https://amzn.eu/d/eWRJjix

This Nails Inc set from QVC looks like a good buy and could be split: qvcuk.app.link/DOlefJg4hTb

Can anyone recommend a silk pillowcase for around £15?

Cult beauty have a spin to win today only, I assume it’s on their website (I had an email). I won a £50 voucher with no minimum spend, I stocked up on suncream but it’s good for sol de janiero sets or summer Fridays which teens love.

It’s not on the website. Could you share the link from the email?

Summerdew · 16/05/2025 10:20

It must have gone viral without them expecting it to as they’ve now stopped it - sorry @fishfingersandchipsagain

Hi all.
Not sure how long this deal will be on (or if it’s even any good) but Amazon have this Olay skincare gift set down to £18.50 instead of £74 (apparently) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DBQ8FMMC/?tag=gb038-21&psc=1

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 16/05/2025 13:39

@Clucket87

Would anyone have an Argos code please? Spending £60. I don’t seem to have had any for ages, so not sure if there are any current ones.

watchuswreckthemic · 17/05/2025 12:36

Versace The dreamer EDT is currently £20 in Boots for the 100ml bottle.
I’ve not smelt it, but might be good for a present.

I've had that @Clucket87 I know it's technically an aftershave but a nice smell is a nice smell! It's lovely, really fresh and almost lemony on me. That's a good price.

Clucket87 · 18/05/2025 13:07

@CarrieMoonbeamswith a name like The Dreamer, I wouldn’t have noticed it was for men! I clearly need to be a little more observant!

crikeyisthatthetimez · 18/05/2025 14:58

Tweezerman Disney mini slant tweezers are reduced to £4 each in store at boots. I bought 2 for teenagers & they were reduced further on a buy one get one half price! They are normally £16 but I'm not sure I would ever have paid that

has anyone got a jet 2 flight voucher please?

Mince3141 · 21/05/2025 10:15

Melissa and Doug ice cream sets are generally quite popular on here and the middle of the range one is down to £30.99 which looks to be about as low as they have done this year.

As I think loads of you will have them, does anyone know if they'd be suitable for a 2 year old? Says 3+ but I can't see why.
