Evening all!

Welcome to the first prequel thread of 2025

These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Happy Christmas Bargain Shopping!

Lego botanicals are £35.99 on amazon- I think that's possibly the cheapest I've seen them.

Fuckingfuckssake · 18/01/2025 21:20

Thank you for the Plouise help! My DD just want to but 1 lip gloss, a few days ago the website was showing some of the Bad Bitch Energy sets for £8.75 each, but now they seem to have disappeared, she hasn't got enough money for 3, first world problems I know.

Summerdew · 18/01/2025 21:24

Look on vinted for PLouise, often on there cheaper. Looks like the sale has ended, the Xmas pjs are back to full price and we got them for half a week or so ago.

Puffalicious · 18/01/2025 22:39

Not sure if anyone has any tips/ codes bit I'm planning the new bathroom refit , I can't believe the cost of things. I nearly fainted at the cost of the tiles I like. Have found both wall & floor tiles I saw in-store in tile specialists cheaper online, but huge delivery costs (£39 & £59 respectively 😱). Everything has shot up - sanitary ware, shower enclosure, lights etc
Any tips much appreciated

DressOrSkirt · 19/01/2025 00:56

There's an extra 10% off the crocs sale, added automatically at the checkout!

Does anyone have an Argos code they could PM me please.
Tumble dryer has just packed up 😔

I have a 6 off 60. But If you log in and add the tumble dryer to your basket then close it down you might get a better code a few hours later! 🤞

Decafflatteplease · 19/01/2025 10:22

Had anyone got any money off codes for body shop please?

MamaK19 · 19/01/2025 13:03

Anyone seen any bargains on trampolines? Also would 6ft be big enough for a large 4yo or would I be better going for an 8ft? Thanks ladies!!

BobaCob · 19/01/2025 14:46

I would go for the biggest trampoline you can fit in and if you can dig it in do. My 13 year old still uses ours occasionally so they are worth investing in.

DaffodilsInAJamjar · 19/01/2025 14:50

Frugi Codes:

CC24FR10 for £10 off £50 plus free delivery
5CF24 for £5 off £40 plus free delivery

These were from before Christmas, but might still work. There isn't an expiry date on the leaflet

MamaK19 · 19/01/2025 16:35

@Magnoliasunrise @BobaCob thanks so much I have thought about one in the ground, the OH is not keen on digging a giant hole in the garden though 🤣🤣🤣 but will revisit with them

We also have in-ground (a rectangular Plum- they're not as expensive). It's around 7 years old & still going strong. 12 year old on it regularly, 18 & 20 year olds still have a bounce when home from uni 😃. Neighbour's little ones also love it. It's the most popular thing at Halloween when kids flock (it's in our front garden- we had zombie teenagers this year not wanting to leave!)

Hands down the best thing we've ever bought for the kids.

We had friends all round for the digging, lunch & beer afterward provided. Do that!

Puffalicious · 19/01/2025 19:39

Whilst I'm here, needing 4 Switch games for part of a birthday coming up (£150 ish- gulp).Any codes for Argos/ Currys/ Smyths? Would be very much appreciated.

MrsWinterby · 19/01/2025 21:07

I need a nice thank-you gift for my sister, would anyone please have any edible recommendations (preferably as much bang for my buck as possible!) 🙏

beetr00 · 19/01/2025 21:26

@MrsWinterby does she like cheese?

GrannyWeatherwaxsBroomstick · 20/01/2025 07:56

Mince3141 · 20/01/2025 11:00

mumonthehill · 20/01/2025 12:42

Dunelm have some lovely Christmas glasses in their for 31p each. A few designs.

Wholetthedogsoutwhowhowho · 21/01/2025 15:42

Has anyone come across a bargainous football goal please? Preferably metal as the plastic ones snap easily. It's for my 7 year old son. Thanks all!

IlovePond · 21/01/2025 16:14

Hi, 70% off Xmas stuff at Flying Tiger, ending soon, apparently. I picked up non Xmas fluffy socks in a box for 60p each. They will make good stocking fillers!

Thanks. I've seen a few things on there I like, but not over £250 unfortunately.

I'll have another look in case. Thanks. I

It's really sad that after much real life trawling of bathroom shops - both big names & local- it's all going to be online ordering (except for floor tiles that I can't get anywhere else except for one particular tile shop) due to ridiculous mark up. Its really quite shocking.

Does anyone happen to know how to get a discount code for a Yours Magazine (Great Magazines) subscription, that's not direct debit or Clubcard points? It's doubled in price in the last couple of years 😖
