We’re doing Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve this year then doing buffet bits on Christmas Day.

We always have steak. This year it'll be a fillet, accompanied by chunky chips, roast asparagus and peppercorn sauce. Can't wait!

Bangers and mash

I’m making curry with all the sides. Usually do a party food buffet but I just couldn’t face all the beige crap this year. The choices in the shops this year seemed really poor compared to previous years.

Chippy

We normally have something like pasta + spicy sausage ragu but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to make anything this year. We might just have a stir fry or something.

Pizza, garlic mushrooms, onion rings and potato wedges.

Beef stroganoff with wild rice and tenderstem.

Steak for us, potato gratin and fine beans. Christmas Day I’m making a curry.
We’ve had a rough year, lost two friends and two of DP’s family plus one of our lovely dogs.
Neither of us want to entertain other people this year, we want and are determined to have, a quiet Christmas.

Lasagne and a rocket salad.

Previous years we’ve gone out for Thai food, or had sushi.

Jacket potatoes, I will be doing a lot of cooking over the Christmas period, so it will be nice, and easy to bung a couple of potatoes in the oven, and put my feet up.

Venison casserole, mash potatoes, green veg and then chocolate pudding.

Homemade quiche,salad ,coleslaw and hot potato salad for lunch

Spinach and artichoke dip,Korean corn cheese dip ,tortilla chips ,Brie and cranberry bites ,charcuterie and champagne for dinner

We are holidaying in Ludlow so we are going to a Bistro as I will be cooking a lot Xmas day.

Honey mustard ham, crunchy roast potatoes, tenderstem broccoli, green beans and sweetcorn. Yule log for dessert.

I am incredibly lucky that my sister makes Christmas day lunch for all of us including my Dad so this is our little family of 4 dinner tradition.

Party food here. I’ve got loaded skins, chicken goujons, prawn selection, breaded chicken selection, mini vol au vents, a Camembert, Indian food selection and more.
We all just pick all night.

The plan was Coquille St Jacques and fizz but reading this thread I'm lusting after fish and chips!

Same. I bought fish and chips on Christmas Eve about 15 years ago after a frazzled day at work and it went down a treat. Since then it's become a tradition with us.

Honey roasted ham, tartiflette, asparagus here

We are do a Mediterranean style....Ish. Turkish style slow cooked lamb, roast sweet potato and goats cheese salad,....and posh onion bahjis. Will make a yogurt dip to go with it.

Lemon tart and chocolate rulard for pudding.
