Here's my fave thread of the year, post your Christmas fridges here!!

If I've forgotten it now, we didn't need it anyway!

There is a turkey crown and a gammon joint in there, the beef is already roasting (we're out today, so needs to be cold to be sliced and put into the slowcooker gravy tonight).

I've also put the vegetables in the pantry, which is very cold, along with the wine rack.

Am cooking for 7, for 3 days. 3 vegetarians, 4 meat eaters.

There are 9 types of cheese, and the milkman has just delivered the milk and fresh fruit juice.

Happy sigh.

My delivery email has arrived.
They have subbed my smoked ham for unsmoked and my heros for roses, otherwise pretty much like for like (11 in total)

This is mine! I haven't read the full thread so unsure if it's ok to say things like this: DH is on meds that can increase weight gain and I'm overweight and need to lose some for health reasons. So apart from a turkey dinner and a Yule log, we're not massively indulging. We have got a few party nibbles and pigs in blankets as treats though (to be eaten over a period of time, not all on the day). Also limited alcohol lol, sorry if this fridge is boring. I hope you all really enjoy your lovely fridges!

Yes it's decent enough. Good enough to mean I don't have faff around making it! You can tell its not homemade but at this time of year I don't care

Well I've just had my email- 32 substitutions and 6 out of stock! Some of the subs don't even make sense 😂 Swede instead of peppers as an example.

Ha. That's why I asked as I eyed the sauces up and grabbed the lamb gravy.
I have a friend round tomorrow who LOVES eggs benedict so this hollandaise would have been a nice treat for her. I don't love her enough to attempt an M&S run on Christmas eve....there's next year 🤣🤞🏾

I actually prefer the Lemon and Dill (the one next to the Hollondaise) but it is a tad too thin to work as Hollondaise.

I bloody love this thread each year. And I have some serious fridge envy going on; a couple of your fridges are the same size as my entire kitchen.

Here’s mine. Quite a bit hidden at the back, there’s a gammon in the slow cooker and beef in the oven.

Here’s ours, picked it up this morning. Had to make everyone a hot chocolate to use up some milk to get space for all the food.

Never even heard of Bailey's flavoured squirty cream but now I want some. I'm hosting on 27th so will hunt some out if I can then.

Fridge (crappy under counter one) pretty full.
The beer fridge has overflow mussels, and the cheese lives in the garage anyway.
Snacks and crackers are randomly scattered around the kitchen currently.

I'm very jealous of those with fancy fridges. Maybe Santa will bring me a new kitchen 🎅🙏
