Here's my fave thread of the year, post your Christmas fridges here!!

Oh yes. Always. It tells you to, on the tin.

I keep squirty cream in the fridge as a back up, if I have a recipe that needs cream. It's handy. I mean in sauces or soups.

I use it for the top of the hot chocolate. When if I’ve picked it off the shelf it goes into the fridge once opened. As you said that’s the directions on the tin

Here’s our fridge feeding 6 on Christmas Day. Gammon and beef are in the freezer, booze in the porch.

I'm not home for Christmas, yet but I shall partake as always sometime tomorrow when I'm back. I always get asked how many I cater for, and it's just myself and DD (but I do cook some bits and pieces for my Mum and Dad, too)

Re the egg debate: I'm in the habit of keeping them in the fridge now as I had to for years, when I had a café due to catering food laws.

Also re: squirty cream. I feel rather sick at that being kept out of the fridge. Long life or not. We've been getting the President stuff lately. It's likely as full of crap as the next one, mind.

Out early this morning. 3 supermarkets and the naice (£££) butchers.
A ridiculous amount of money, but we are catering for several days.
Desserts yet to made
Pigs in blankets and stuffing in the freezer.
Drinks in the wine fridge. More fruit and veg in the garage.

We’ll be having beans on toast/ soup for the whole of January.

Mine isn't as full as normal as only me, DH and our 2 young children for dinner so just needed a small turkey. Pretty excited by the lobster thermidore crumpets !!

Online orders now collected/delivered.
Most of the beer and wine is in the chilly futility room, along with crisps and crackers, breads and croissants in a drawer, and loaf of chocolates and treats on a trolley in the kitchen. We are officially ready for anything!

I do love a fridge nosey. I'm just waiting for my oysters that will be delivered tomorrow, drinks, other seafood and three bird roast are in the utility room fridge.

Here is mine. It seems a bit of an advert for Sainsbury’s! I saved my Nectar points all year so I was please with myself.

Can't do the fridge as we're not having Christmas at ours this year. Can do the back of the car though! Oh and we are bringing the blocks of butter as it's best from Ireland!

Spray cream definitely in the fridge! I am seeing a lot of mince pies in the fridges which is making me doubt my judgment on them - surely they’re cupboard?

Here is my fridge. Veg is left out, as we have no more room

I went to Aldi for 7am this morning and it was fine, people but not busy at all. Was glad I had got my turkey joint a couple of days ago as they had none left, although plenty of other 'proper' turkeys! And no xmas cuthberts to be seen so was pleased I had one stashed in the cupboard!
Gammon is out defrosting and alcohol in the salad tray!
No cheese as dsis is bringing cheese board on Xmas day!

Also no fridge cat picture but I can do kitten in xmas carrier bag as she was helping unpack!🫢 🤣

Looking fantastic ladies and gents! Some wonderful games of tetris being played. My fridge is full today although I still have my meat coming tomorrow so that’s got to somehow fit in here although tomorrow will be veg prep so that will remove some items. Going to my mums this year so she has a fridge filled with pigs in blankets, sausage meat, brandy butter, more cheese… Looking forward to all the beautiful food😍

My fridge/ freezer, 17 years old and due to be replaced in the new year is full to bursting and making funny noises. I hope it doesn't pack up 🫣
