Our house agree with this OP, it is the only one we watch

The one with the guy who played grant in EastEnders, tied with the Muppets.

Upstartled · 19/12/2024 15:34

Albert Finney - if you're not singing along with Thank you Very Much, then you have no soul.

justmadabouttheboy · 19/12/2024 15:35

The 2019 version with Guy Pearce…enjoyably dark and scary, but also the Alasdair Sim film and the Muppets!

Roryno · 19/12/2024 15:37

The muppets one is about the only one I don’t like, shame as it’s my husband’s favourite! Probably the PS version for me too.

MrsSethGecko · 19/12/2024 15:37

Muppets.

I love this one.

The PS version is on YouTube if anyone wants to watch it 😊

Scrooged with Bill Murray is a good one. Hard to beat The Muppets though.

Needmorelego · 19/12/2024 15:56

Muppets 😍
(although my daughter recently saw the stage version with John Simm at the Old Vic and was very impressed)

BriceNobeslovesMurielHeslop · 19/12/2024 15:57

Muppets.
I very much did not like the Guy Pearce one.

I agree PS is very hood not only in his telling of the tale but it proves you don't need tones of cgi , and billions of pounds to make a bloody good film

OAPapparently · 19/12/2024 15:59

I also agree with The Muppets!

stackhead · 19/12/2024 15:59

Muppets!!

womenbite · 19/12/2024 16:03

Another vote for the Muppets

Bandol · 19/12/2024 16:15

The Muppets with an honourable mention to Mickey’s Christmas Carol.

ProssecoSparkle · 19/12/2024 16:24

The Muppets for me

Think I will watch it later on tonight.

When they ask for extra coal and get told no. Then start singing heatwave 🤣🤣🤣

MonkeyTennis34 · 19/12/2024 17:14

The Ross Kemp version.
It's on YouTube.

ghostfacethriller · 19/12/2024 17:14

The 1984 version with Edward Woodward as one of the ghosts and Roger Rees as Scrooge's nephew. I love that one, and I must have seen them all 😁

BleeBlahBlue · 19/12/2024 17:15

The Muppets version has the most from the actual book in it, helps that Gonzo/Dickens narrates it.

The best hands down!

Squirrelsnut · 19/12/2024 17:16

Alistair Sim, then Muppets, then Patrick Stewart.
