It was £85 in the one I visited today in London.
They looked really good but it's a lot of Dosh
I think I'll stick to our fake one!

We got a big one in Dobbies last year - I can’t remember the price but if we signed up to be a member we got a big discount.
it was £12 to be a member for a year and the discount was way more than that so worth it.
also if you’re a member you get a free hot drink every month and various discounts to perks etc

In Ireland and we paid €100 yesterday for a huge one. Not sure if it’s 10 or 12 ft. (Vaulted ceiling)
I think an 8ft was €80.

greengreyblue · 02/12/2024 15:45

£35-£55

LBOCS2 · 03/12/2024 12:30

We paid £55 for a slim Nordmann fir at B&Q over the weekend, we're London borders.

MiddleAgedDread · 03/12/2024 12:36

I checked 2 local suppliers and they were both £55

Sparxdislike · 03/12/2024 13:19

£40-£50

DramaAlpaca · 03/12/2024 13:22

€40 straight from the farm

nationalsausagefund · 03/12/2024 13:23

£65 in the south east but they’ll deliver for free so no roof rack shenanigans required.

Minihero · 03/12/2024 15:33

£22.99 from Lidl (London)

kirinm · 03/12/2024 15:47

SE London, 6-7ft was around £80-90 I think and 7-8ft £115

BearOnABlanket · 03/12/2024 15:56

60Euro - chopped in front of us after we wander the farm to pick it out.

It was 50Euro last year - there's no way the kids will let me just buy one though, they like the ceremony of picking and getting the guy with the chainsaw to chop it down..

£15 in Lidl for a 5-6 ft tree. Similar at other supermarkets but not all trees are alike!

I have a fake my self, can't be dealing with fetching a real one as no roof rack

Might need to check that out. We usually go to the local farm but prices have been creeping up. Now about £40. So £15 is a big saving.

LeroyJenkinssss · 03/12/2024 16:00

£30-40 local place fantastic trees - it’s one of our annual Christmas days out (Wales)

Cheshiremamalife · 03/12/2024 16:01

I think our local Xmas tree farm charges £10 per foot 🎄

Indyschoolq · 03/12/2024 16:05

Oh dear, think we got ripped off. Paid £69 for 6-7 ft and £109 for our 9 ft one. They delivered which was a draw, but time will tell how fresh they were. They look great atm.

Meh don't sweat it. It's hard enough picking a pretty tree, let alone finding the best abd the cheapest.
My friend paid a fortune for a tree in one of the cold winters ( so heating was always on). Lost ALL its needles by Christmas. Its one of the funniest Christmas memories everyone has now and didn't stop anyone having the best time then.

Nah, that would be a good price near me, don’t worry!

Mind you, similar to the friend of @AndThereSheGoes - we bought ours early once and by the time Christmas came round we had a Christmas stick 😂 every time we walked into the room you could hear the little shimmy of another thousand needles falling off! From then on we don’t get it earlier than 12th, this year the 15th, and spring for a non drop one!

Starseeking · 03/12/2024 23:11

£70 for 6ft in my part of London. I got the 5ft one as that was £60. Still thought it was a pretty hefty price to pay, but it looks lovely 😬😳😬

MoreHairyThanScary · 03/12/2024 23:20

£26.95 in plants galore for a 6-7 ft ( it was cheaper last year as I got it in the Black Friday sale!)
