It was £85 in the one I visited today in London.
They looked really good but it's a lot of Dosh
I think I'll stick to our fake one!

6ft was £40 or £60 can't quite remember, 8ft was £89 and then 12ft had no price tags. I think it was £40 for up rooted and £60 for rooted.

Imisscoffee2021 · 01/12/2024 22:54

We moved to Scotland for a few years, from London, and my husband was thrilled when we got a 5 footer that was actually a 6 footer (and almost same in width at the bottom 😅) from the local farm for £28. It would have been nearly £100 in our old area in London!

AndThereSheGoes · 01/12/2024 23:00

Depends on the type. A bushy Nordmann firs is £44 I think for that size in the garden centre. I like the spikey cheap spruces. That was £30.
There were offers on this weekend. One had a 15% discount with a loyalty card and one had £10 any tree over 6ft

leia24 · 01/12/2024 23:01

45 pound in B+Q today

mitogoshigg · 01/12/2024 23:02

£15 in Lidl for a 5-6 ft tree. Similar at other supermarkets but not all trees are alike!

I have a fake my self, can't be dealing with fetching a real one as no roof rack

Twoshoesnewshoes · 01/12/2024 23:03

£30, local farmer, lovely tree, 8 foot
(the tree, not the farmer)

BaronessBomburst · 01/12/2024 23:07

An 8ft tree is 25 euros, but they grow them locally and we get it straight from the farm.

CharlotteSometimes1 · 01/12/2024 23:08

£79 its a lot, but I don’t like fake ones.

TheChosenTwo · 01/12/2024 23:11

Between £60-£80 here depending on the type. We usually go for a 7ft one and it’s about £80/90 ish.
Smells so festive! 2 weeks today until we go and get ours and I’m already excited 😂

Ophy83 · 01/12/2024 23:18

£40, nursery in Kent

Peasnbeans · 01/12/2024 23:21

B&M, 6ft, Norway Spruce, £30.
It's a lovely shape and tbeh had loads.
£45 for 6-7ft.

mondaytosunday · 01/12/2024 23:23

Just got at 6-7ft one for £75 within the M25 at a tree farm, which is what we've paid the last few years. I remember about 15 years ago walking through Wimbledon Village with a friend (who lives in a very nice commuter belt town) and the trees were about £90 and how shocked she was. They're probably £110 now - trees don't seem to have gone up much.

jocktamsonsbairn · 01/12/2024 23:29

Go to Aldi! I've just bought a 5-6 ft tree for £13.99! It's gorgeous and just the right height! I'd say closer to the 6' than 5' and a lovely shape. We've bought from Aldi before and th e trees have lasted as long as more expensive ones from garden centres did. I'm in Scotland by the way!

TheBirdintheCave · 01/12/2024 23:35

£58 today at a farm in West Sussex. It's a lovely tree :)

GetDownkeith · 01/12/2024 23:44

6/7 foot Nordman Fir cut down for us in the field was £50. I’m in the Highlands.

Chypre · 01/12/2024 23:49

£50 in south west, for a Nordman fir.

GeorgeBeckett · 01/12/2024 23:49

Price list today.

Local chap, lovely fresh bushy trees, will deliver

5-6ft £40
6-7ft £50
7-8ft £60

Ikea, Lidl, Aldi, B&Q may be cheaper

TheGirlattheBack · 01/12/2024 23:54

£23 in Mole Valley Stores.

StrawberryWater · 01/12/2024 23:54

Lancashire here.

My local farm place is selling them for £84 for a noble fir and a nordmann fir for £76.

I was shocked to be honest.

I'm sticking with my fakes for another year.

Aria999 · 01/12/2024 23:55

Last year I paid $200 for a 7 foot one 😬

Juliagreeneyes · 01/12/2024 23:57

South-east here, and it would be around £65-70 for a 6ft nordmann fir and around £45 for a spruce.

cariaaad · 02/12/2024 01:02

£12.99 Home Bargains 5-6ft Nordmann Fir. Nice shape and perfect height for us.

mathanxiety · 02/12/2024 01:22

$50 -$90 depending on type of tree and where you buy it.

Poppins17 · 02/12/2024 05:35

We paid £60 on Saturday for a 6ft from a Christmas tree farm in Midlands.

DoublePeonies · 02/12/2024 06:26

£15 half price with a clubcard in Tesco - don't know if deal is still on.
£40 at the local supported jobs garden centre (my usual place).
More everywhere else.
