HippyChickMama · 01/12/2024 17:45

Mini tin robot
Sheepskin insoles for his work boots

From the dc he has a solar powered watch

Runskiyoga · 01/12/2024 17:54

A hoodie, rugby shirt and shirt he chose, all the absolute basic boring, a Terry's chocolate orange, a caramilk type huge toblerone and I really want to find something else...

Stompythedinosaur · 01/12/2024 18:30

Dp has a December birthday, so he'll get the following spread between birthday and Christmas.

A blacksmithing course
Tickets to a comedy gig
A graphic novel
A wood carving set
Tabi socks (to go with some tabi shoes he recently got)
Probably a bottle of whiskey

SnoopysHoose · 01/12/2024 18:38

North Face jacket, microphone, aftershave, various wee bits.

Needanewname42 · 01/12/2024 21:48

@Stompythedinosaur
Tabi shoes and socks they sound interesting, then Googled 🤔 maybe not!
What is it he uses them for being curious? Seem to come in martial arts wear, watersports and regular reeboks?

PlantDoctor · 01/12/2024 21:51

We set a budget of around £50 for each other as we tend to just get things when we need them, but I'm chuffed I've got some good ideas this year!

Got him a fluff-lined hoody/jacket and a PS4 game that he was interested in when it came out. Both in black Friday sale :)

Needanewname42 · 01/12/2024 21:54

Cynic17 · 01/12/2024 13:35

Beer, chocolate and socks. Because his birthday is Xmas Eve, and I've spent hundreds on that 😂 Plus, we don't really do Christmas.

Come on spill the birthday 🎂 ideas?

Unless someone can come up with a better idea DH will be getting a BBQ for birthday

Needanewname42 · 01/12/2024 21:57

mamajong · 01/12/2024 22:02

Nothing! We are treating ourselves to a week away just us

Apigwithoutablanket · 01/12/2024 22:02

Lego set, mug, a pair of socks.

He will have most likely got me the same

TiredCatLady · 01/12/2024 22:19

New kit for our shared hobby/sport (which will be used over the xmas break). I’m getting similar from him.

ChristmasIsComing2024 · 02/12/2024 00:18

I feel like I’ve got my partner a lot but it’s mostly boring stuff 😬 He’s getting 4 t-shirts, a shirt, 3 jumpers and a cardigan, a gillet, 6 packs of socks/underwear, 4 food/snacks, a book, some trainers, some stuff from LUSH, 4 silly/random things and an old camera that he found in a charity shop.

I want to get him something fun but I don’t know what and I’m running out of money anyway 🙈😂

Lidlisthebusiness · 02/12/2024 02:09

I've not bought anything yet, but on my to buy list are:

Ekster wallet and tracker
Black skull beret display
Momento Mori coin
Nuvola or Isobaa slippers
Gymshark joggers (and boxers for his stocking)
Some books from his wishlist

He travels abroad a lot, so if anyone has any suggestions to make his trips easier/more enjoyable, they'd be very welcome!

Meeko505 · 02/12/2024 06:45

Going to get him:

  • A new pair of trousers I saw him eyeing up a few months ago
  • A book (Abroad in Japan)
  • A very nice new notebook for work
Witchywoo41 · 02/12/2024 06:55

I’ve bought him a hoody, alarm clock, car vac, Hard Rock Cafe glass and aftershave. I need to get a jigsaw and pjs then he’s done

IggyAce · 02/12/2024 06:59

Bottle of whisky
Aftershave
Pjs
sweets
smellies

APurpleSquirrel · 02/12/2024 08:32

Tickets to see The Book of Mormon
A voucher for a medieval archery experience
T-shirts
Socks
And finally a bread bow saw knife to cut his sourdough bread 😂

Fupoffyagrasshole · 02/12/2024 08:34

No presents for each other every - hate “stuff”
we just go away for a weekend or something at some point or get tickets for something to go to together

Gingerbee · 02/12/2024 09:10

We each sponsor a child overseas as our Christmas Present. We usually get updates/letters in December and put them in our stocking.
Usually add a donation to another charity. This year Doctors without Borders.
Socks, undies, sweets maybe a good malt whisky or a book.

Iliketulips · 02/12/2024 14:49

So far:

Brewhouse and Kitchen voucher for gin tasting session
A CD he's asked for
Fun pair socks
Two small chocolate stockings fillers
Two cans of M&S alcohol and mixers (he reckons there's a generous portion of alcohol in them!)
M&S shower gell

Xtraincome · 02/12/2024 15:08

Jaws Lego. It's £130 and at the top end of our budget. So just that this year. It looks awesome!

Whichone2024 · 02/12/2024 15:15

north face thermal slippers :D

Madickenxx · 02/12/2024 15:20

Boring stuff he needs...

Sheepskin slippers
after shave
Manscaped Lawn mower 3
Set of screwdrivers on a stand

That's it I think.
