Thanks @IlovePond for the title.

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

This was the more expensive one currently £140 after applying the three different coupons.

This is the cheap one regularly goes down to £35-£45 after application on coupons.

Sorry that was for @N96

Some deals on Tonies box bundles at Smyths - box and 4 Tonies for £99.99 or 2 Tonies for £83.99.

Not just the Tonies in the first photo available - quite a range you can choose from as part of the bundle.

@nearlylovemyusername Thank you. I had a bit of a panic when I saw the price I think. That’s much better.

@Vetoncall Thank you. I didn’t know that. I’m not much of a real life shopper to be honest. Poor health makes online easier but that does sound lovely. If I make it into Belfast before Christmas I’ll def have a wee look there.

All caught up and pleased that my projector was delivered. Glad DD wasn’t home as it had no packaging and was clearly a projector, also just abandoned on my doorstep too by Amazon! Luckily still there when I got home!

Mine was in a brown bag. But also left on the door step. It was delivered at 9.05 this morning and my dh came home at 3pm! Lucky it was still there!

Any ideas for a soft-er type electric toothbrush for a ten year old please. Many have been rejected as too sore etc but his teeth need an electric toothbrush!
I saw these Ordo squishmallow ones, any one review these or discount code?

Have checked Amazon Black Friday but nothing very exciting for me so far.

The usual discounts on Melissa and Doug, kinetic sand, monster jam trucks, some on the Airfix quick build kits. Worth checking if you wanted anything from those ranges.

was going to link but it keeps dropping my message when I switch between screens.

15% off all items on the White Fox site with code - BELLAWTT

It popped up randomly on TikTok so I don't know how long it's valid for

Jellybum2019 · 21/11/2024 02:15

Quick browse on Amazon:
Melissa and Doug sandwich shop £23
melissa and Doug paw patrol dashboard £27
Large polly pocket play sets around 60% off
the traitors board game £17
Ticket to ride games different %’s off

looks like there’s a specific toy event on the 28th under ‘wow’ deals

What's the best way to get a decent discount on Adidas Campus for teen dd, please? It's her top gift on her birthday wishlist.

Are those trainers? I am sure they do 25% off at Christmas but I’d keep an eye on schuh, office etc. Also Quidco for cashback.

Who was after a legitimate rubiks cube! Less than £7

Deal: Rubik’s Cube, The Original 3x3 Colour-Matching Puzzle, Classic Problem-Solving Cube amzn.eu/d/09gQxJj

YeahWellWhyNot · 20/11/2024 13:28

Can I ask about Rubik's cubes? It's on my ds must have list. He's only 7, v.little concept of brands. I picked up a cheap version for a £1/2 to put in his stocking, which means it's also out of the packaging (stocking gifts have no packaging a see theyre from the elves) but now wondering if I should have bought the real deal, but they're like £15+ does anyone know if there is a massive difference and it's worth shelling out for. I don't want him to be disappointed

@User202242 just found you a cheap real rubix cube

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 21/11/2024 06:55

If anyone sees the red descendants doll in stock anywhere please can they let me know? I’ve ordered one from Amazon but it has an expected arrival date 9th Dec -7th Jan. I refuse to pay the over double RRP that they are going for on eBay!

GoodIsGoodEnough · 21/11/2024 06:59

@Enterthedragonqueen I can send a referral link that would get you £10 off? Not sure how much they are, you might be able to find a discount code to get a better discount.
