Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. @MrsWinterby I think baubles are a great idea not necessarily hand painted My DS loved his broccoli one that turned up in his stocking and I have bought everything from tractors (M&S this year) to passports.
The recipients can see that it's chosen with them in mind and they only need to come out once a year if they hate them ( if at all).

I saw one the same or very similar in Tesco the other day. It was £4.50 with clubcard.

Help,.oh wise ones. After many years of very simple chocolate advent calendars, I splashed out and treated my DH, DD and DS. All good, but I ordered a Raspberry Pi one for my son and now it's arrived it's only 12 days not 24 like everyone else's 🙈 How do I present the fact he's only got a door every two days?
