Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. Also got the M&S bag for my nan and it's really lovely, the bits inside look fantastic and I think for £25 it really is a great bargain and gift.

Did go to Home Bargains for the HiSmile (DS loves them but I usually pay up to £10 a tube!!) but they didn't have any.

@YeahWellWhyNot I don't think playmobil do a tudor ship, but there is an Airfix starter kit model of the Mary Rose. Not so much of a toy though.
