Posh adult "stocking" presents

I need some posh small presents. 4 for men and 4 for women. Maybe 10/15 quid each? I want them to be a bit out of the ordinary-and something they won't want to recycle immediately. The recipients are between 23 and 28.Any ideas?

-Hibiscus flowers? They are like a candied, edible flower you put into champagne/drinks. They are pretty, add some sweetness and are edible. Amazon, lakeland and waitrose sell them.

-Champagne truffles

-Bacon jam 😋https://porkpie.co.uk/products/bacon-jam?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwveK4BhD4ARIsAKy6pMJ7DjGJFSPkHQMgaG6e9TYK9DZ7xJZcLhgcFIY-OAsuDb8g96ScCmMaAqcsEALw_wcB

Aaaahhh I remember falling in love with these hibiscus flowers on a trip to Oz, and being over the moon to find them in the UK. They're fab in a glass of Champagne! Grin

Big fan of candy coloured Parker pens. Buy with a refill to be really useful

Thommasina · 23/10/2024 20:51

Le Creuset egg cups or espresso cups

I bought a jar, just for me from Lakeland, for NYE. Horrid really. Did nothing for the good champagne I had also bought to treat myself. Couldn't find alternative ways to use them. But I do wonder if these are over sweet. Perhaps the Oz ones aren't.

I came on to say this.
Also Fortnums stuff. They have a little box of man of the match iced biscuits on the sale for £10 but lots of nice bits of food.
My favourite secret Santa was pink Carbonnel andWalker chocolates, pink Himalayan bath salts and a little bottle of pink champagne.

You can get teeny little swiss army knives that go on a keyring - they are £15 on Amazon - the link is massive though. Got one for DH and DD and they are surprisingly really handy.

Another vote for a yeti cup - one of my husbands stocking fillers one year and it’s used daily. I’ve also since bought him a Huski cup to keep drinks cold in summer. Really good socks are always a popular idea in this house, think premium branded boot socks or sports socks. Posh hand cream is one I always like, Elizebeth Arden often do the eight hour sets with the lip balm and the hand cream on offer if you stalk Amazon.

Such a good thread.
A scratchcard is quite a good stocking filler but could be a waste of money

winewolfhowls · 23/10/2024 22:14

Tea spoons with longer stems, maybe actually called latte spoons? You can get some nice ones.

Thommasina · 23/10/2024 22:14

Those lovely Nordic socks,

check out fortnum and mason on line. They have some of the most decadent foodie gifts like black cherry curd or pistachio wafers.

Herdy have the cutest Lake District sheep themed gifts but good quality and stylish. Great mugs.

Monty bojangle truffles in this great cat tins.

Anything from Rituals?

Floranan · 23/10/2024 22:35

I don’t know if it’s in budget, but last year I was given a lovely tin of breakfast tea - whitards and a sweet little infuser

it’s not something I would have got myself but I love it , use it everyday and have bought more loose tea

florasl · 23/10/2024 22:51

Biscuiteers goes down well, Laneige mini set, Tony's Chocolonely. Also worth looking at the Anthropologie gift section, lots of lovely gifts.
