Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. Victoria Secrets have a sale on, very popular brand for teens.

That’s a shame, but not your fault as I think the photos on Amazon are very misleading. It looked comparable to the large Megladon one on there. I ordered one to be picked up
at the local Amazon locker but may just leave it to go back and get refunded and use the money towards the larger sized one.

Just back from a mooch in Tesco after @okayhescereal's post. There was lots in the toys section, and plenty of stock. I also spotted these games at 60-75% off, which would make good family presents, or additions to family hampers.
Also a half price character set which would make a good present for Minecraft fans, and a half price Hot Wheels set which was a good size for the price.

Thanks. Yes I thought it would be similar to the Megalodon one but it's not quite as impressive looking. I would post a picture but I don't think I will be able to do it undetected now that the kids are home from school.

HOW MUCH? 🤣 Only joking but didn't we get these for about a fiver a pair last year? Seconds mind, I had one pair that were very small. Luckily MIL has skinny wrists and hands

@ItWasOnAStarryNight I got Turtle Doves cashmere seconds from the eBay outlet in September 2022. I think they were £7.99, or £6.39 each pair if you bought 4+ pairs.

This year the cashmere seconds are £12.99 a pair, or £10.39 each pair if you buy four or more pairs.

@Skullerymaid I took it out of the box properly this morning and took a picture next to the Meg. They are comparable but the tiger shark has much smaller wheels and I’m sure the meg came in a bigger box. __
