We liked the naked marshmallows too, only tried vanilla and salted caramel though. Taste better as a smore or dipped in a sauce.

Anyone who has a Very account should check their offers. I had a £30 off £60 shop which worked with all clearance and sale items. Just bagged a light up toddler scooter which is £35 at argos, some Lego technic, play doh set, colour change teamsterz set, 2x colour change hot wheels bundles for £35 delivered to my local shop. Very very pleased.

Reminder to all not to be seduced by big percentage off signs! I was in the entertainer this week and saw this barbie care clinic

www.thetoyshop.com/shop-by-age/5-year-olds/Barbie-Care-Clinic-Playset/p/564874

Spent ages scrolling to find more things to add and then realised it's the same price on Amazon

Where did you look in your account to see your offer?

JustCantBeBothered · 26/07/2024 22:05

@fourelementary The code that had been applied to my account was 30BACK. Its one time use and account specific but might be worth a shot. It pinged up when I logged in.

Just a few stocking fillers, a gamer keychain (42p), a light up torch pen (83p), a Haynes Football Stars pocket manual (£1.24) and a NASA Planets Jigsaw (£1.62). There's loads of stuff for younger DC there. The prices are exclusive of VAT. My order was £12.66 of items, £2.29 of VAT and £3.99 delivery (UK flat rate).

Edit to add: I ordered 18 items for £18.94 all in. It's definitely worth a look for stocking fillers. They also have some good offer on party bags and multi packs, if you have a DC birthday coming up.

Iamawomenphenominally · 27/07/2024 19:37

Thank you, I've also done a kids stuff for less order! Ordered some Xmas bits and bobs for stockings, as well as some activity books and little toys for our summer holiday.

I've ordered from them previous years too, they're fab for stocking fillers.

Hi, can I ask your advice?! I am thinking of getting DS3 either Brio Builder set, Knex or Magnatiles - any thoughts on which might be best/have longevity etc? Also have DD5, both love building with Duplo and have some Lego too so I don’t know if it’s just more of the same sort of thing?! Thanks!

If you don't have any, Magnatiles! They have had masses of longevity with my nieces and nephews (DD is nearly 5 and loves them too). Unless you buy the kids k'nex, that might be too frustrating.

I know, I wish I'd known about them years ago!

Magnetiles. My 11 year old still plays with them from time to time. Only trouble is you need quite a few - but age 3-5 he got a set for most birthdays and Christmases.

JustCantBeBothered · 27/07/2024 22:04

Another vote for magnatiles. Tried knex 2 years ago for ds who was just turned 4 at the time and the pieces are microscopic for that age. Worse than Lego actually in terms of swallow-ability!. Tried the kids version and after an initial play, my eldest two haven't really taken to it. Magnatiles still going strong (mine are now 6, 4 and nearly 2).

Amazing thank you! I have just managed to get some Christmas bits for DD1s stocking and all her party bag fillers for November!!
I saw on my boring grocery shopping travels yesterday lots of gabby dollhouse toys in Aldi (ended up getting dd a make your own bath bomb set for 5.99 currently on amazon for £20) and jiggly pets elephant dinosaur and rabbit for 8.99, kicking myself as they are 19.99 on Amazon/Argos etc so might need to nip back! Might be of use to someone 💕

StopInhalingRevels · 28/07/2024 08:05

And that's 23 things for 3DC from 4 to 16 sorted for their stockings! £31 delivered. Torch pens, jewellery bits, pull back cars...and some bigger activity bags that cost a touch more that will keep them entertained on long journeys.

Fab website, looking forward to seeing what turns up!

Elphaba17 · 28/07/2024 09:08

Another vote for magnatiles, we have a mix of branded and non branded from Amazon and they are fantastic especially if you pick up some add on parts like the wheels.

yesornothatisthequestion · 28/07/2024 10:06

Has anyone possibly got an Argos code they won't use please. Making a £389.99 purchase (thanks tv for breaking on the first day of the holidays!!)

Lisamari99 · 28/07/2024 11:48

Magnatiles are fab. we got half price sets in black friday sale from their own website

Puravida23 · 28/07/2024 11:59

Glossy box has their mystery boxes for £7 with the code BOX7 . Can’t vouch for the quality of the boxes as not received mine yet but I think they were quite popular last year and might be good for stocking fillers

GoingUphill · 28/07/2024 12:01

Agree that magnetic tiles are great. I went for a large tub by Mag-Genius which was much cheaper than the Magnatiles brand. I know you have to be aware of some of the cheaper brands on Amazon etc as it is dangerous if they break and the magnets come out, but Mag-Genius is sold in the Range and Target, so I assume they have decent quality control. We have had our set for about 5 years with no problems.

hby9628 · 28/07/2024 14:40

@Puravida23 thanks for the glossy box tip. Ordered one for my DD. They were great last year
