Argos have 25% off toys with code TOYS25.

This includes already discounted toys such as the previously posted Jurassic World Dominion Super Colossal T-Rex Dinosaur which was reduced to £26.25 from £80.00 but with code is now £19.69 with the code.

May be other offers worth looking at but I haven't looked properly.

Beware on some of the prices- some of the he things I was interested in (mostly Sylvanians/Barbie) are actually a fair bit cheaper elsewhere/on Amazon, even with the 25% off.

Also: I swear that they have had a much bigger selection when they have run this promo before!

Wholetthedogsoutwhowhowho · 18/07/2024 15:24

Not very christmassy but may help.....GEORGE ASDA currently have spend £30 save 20% on selected lines. I've just ordered a new pan set I'd had my eye on for a while!

There's actually alot of toys in this offer, toy kitchens and Lego which I know are sought after Xmas gifts.

VeruccaSalty · 18/07/2024 17:43

This seems a good deal for Lego Dreamzzz set on House of Fraser but cant bring myself to pay 4.99 delivery....

For those who got the £15 bridal box (thanks to the op who mentioned them!) can I see what you got inside please? I've bought one for my SIL and just curious as to what she might be getting in it ☺️

imnottoofussed · 18/07/2024 19:40

Also interested as it seemed to say a small box so didn't know if it was the same as the regular dearer charity box that I got.

CatherineofAmazon · 18/07/2024 23:10

I can’t remember exactly what’s in the bridal beauty box as I only opened the crepe paper a little bit(didn’t want to rip it)
Theres the perfume samples, tiny bottles in the cardboard cover.
Gold heart dangle earrings and a matching gold bangle which is quite cute
bottle of something called face vinegar or something like that
A burgundy hair bobble with gold stars on it.
I think that’s it but I’ll check again tomorrow to see if I’ve missed anything. Not very exciting IMO.

ShinyPrettyThings87 · 18/07/2024 23:41

Yes, I was surprised the box was so small!
Glad to hear there's crepe paper inside to posh it up abit... When I saw it, I was worried it looked abit meh to hand over as a gift. Thanks for letting me know what's possibly in it! I'll add a pic, the outside is disappointing, really hoping it's going to be fancier inside 🙏

I’m on holiday so won’t get to see what’s in my bridal beauty kit until I return. I ordered because I wanted the Charlotte Tilburry fragrances and this was the cheapest way to get them. Still ridiculously overpriced imo but my teen niece will be delighted.

imnottoofussed · 19/07/2024 10:24

The regular bridal boxes usually have a canvas branded pouch inside if you did want to open it and put all the items inside the bag as the gift? Or if not I can send you one of my bags I've got a few

ShinyPrettyThings87 · 19/07/2024 10:53

Oh @imnottoofussed thanks for the offer and the idea!! I've had one of those boxes before and should still have the canvas bag from it!! Didn't even think about that 🙈🤣 off to have a deep dive to the back of my big cupboard!

Argos set of 3 Ben Miller kids books (the day I fell into a fairy tale and 2 others) down to £5 for ages 8-12. Amazon sell one of the set for £7,.99).

HollyGennero · 19/07/2024 17:14

I’m not sure how useful this would be for Christmas gifts but I’ve just bought some silicone food storage bags in M&S:
Large £1.25, Medium £1, small £0.75

They scanned at even less than the reduced shelf tags said and Ocado still have them listed at £12.50/£10/£7.50 so it’s a good saving - it was the Trafford Centre M&S I found them at and they had lots, not sure if other stores will have them. I thought it might be a good extra present if anyone is giving a recipe book, reusable flask, lunchbox etc. for Christmas.

Tesco had majority of toys reduced.
Play dough sets half price, hot wheels car pack half price at £5. Lots of lego too. To be honest, it seemed every toy was reduced.

Also summer stock, paddling pools £40 reduced to £15, also a smaller one for just £2, water guns down to £1.50. Frisbees, outdoor toys, I can't remember exactly what but all heavily reduced.

I had to really restrain myself as i have no space to store!!

Debtfreeme · 20/07/2024 09:40

So was bridal beauty worth it?

ShinyPrettyThings87 · 20/07/2024 10:09

@Debtfreeme I used Google Lens to see the value of the face vinegar, mask and cleansing bar and they're definitely far worth more than I paid... But... The hair bobble and bracelet came up as being from Shein/eBay/other cheap sites. The scents are nice that came free with it. I didn't lens the earrings as I didn't know they were in there until later! I managed to get the sticker up without damaging the box to see what the inside of it was like and was so glad I didn't get it delivered to my friends address. Decided to keep it for myself and get her something better.
Made it sensitive image incase anyone bought it for themselves as a surprise.

I’ve just received my bridal beauty box - I also got the face vinegar/unscented soap bar/bobble/earrings/bangle/perfume testers. I also received an OPI mail varnish from the Barbie collab, a bottle of Cutex nail recovery treatment and a nude Maxfactor lipgloss. I added a gua sha facial kit for £10 which included reusable make up wipes, gua sha set, oskia renaissance cleansing gel, Emma hardie facial mist and Aurelia repairing night oil (all deluxe samples - 30ml sizes). Probably worth it overall for £20 delivered - I’m going to keep some bits for myself and put some away for stocking fillers.

WhyDoesItAlways · 20/07/2024 12:31

I had the bracelet, earrings, scrunchie, face mask, vinegar stuff and soap bar in my box too. I'm going to take the perfume testers on holiday to save space, and the soap bar so my shower gel doesn't burst in suitcase. Will use the face mask but probably re gift the rest (not the scrunchie, wouldnt wish that on anyone). I think the bracelet and earrings would probably go down well with a preteen.

I've definitely had better from bridal beauty but I ordered for the perfumes which I actually quite like the smell of so fairly happy.

Summerdew · 20/07/2024 12:46

The face vinegar has quite a cult following, and the decree mask is lovely, I’ve had it before.

TinselTarTars · 20/07/2024 16:35

Boots have a very good sale on the app, brilliant for stockings or building a hamper. I brought some tangle teezers reduced and hand creams.

LostMyRubySlippers · 20/07/2024 18:20

Argos have 25% off some toys with code TOYS25 as mentioned upthread. There’s also 25% off some Disney with DISNEY25
The codes will stack with the 2 for 15 if you can find items that are included in both offers- so works out 2 for £11.25 instead

Can you point me in the direction please of where to find reduced items on the app? Thanks!

Givealittlebit · 20/07/2024 22:07

Ooh no scrunchie here! Also got the Barbie collar nail polish but instead of scrunchie got a hair bow that is on a bobble.
Also came in one of the bags, did everyone's have one?

I'd have much preferred the bow to the scrunchie! Nope, no bag for me. Just a plain old brown box with the bridal brand sticker sealing it. A sheet of (very nice and sparkly!) tissue paper and the goods. What's the Barbie thing being mentioned? I've zoomed in but maybe missing it due to tiredness 🤣🙈
