My lush arrived today. The bath bombs aren't packaged at all so no dates. The snow fairy shower gel is dated December 24 I also ordered a snow fairy gift box which has a made on date but no use by that I can see

The bath bombs degrade with time and absorb water from atmosphere so be careful if you keeping till next year

Speaking from experience, the bath bombs will really fade over the year and go a loose dusty texture on the surface. Great if using yourself though

Sale at books for bugs. I have recommended them on here before and I know other posters had a positive experience too. Not in sale books are normally £2.99 each so sale books will be a real bargain. Plus it's a small family business

Some amazing bargains in this sale, lots are 70% or even 85% off!

Lots of cute retro / kitsch stocking fillers or small gifts loads for under £1 or only a few quid. Things like water bottles, stationary, toys, toddler bowls and spoons, lunch bags, notebooks, hair clips etc. plus Christmas decorations.

Mostly aimed at young DC and babies, mostly too young for mine sadly! I would have bought half the shop if I'd found this 10 years ago!

@WidowedMum Without a doubt Beanie Games is the best website to buy from right now, they have a sale on Tonies & then an extra 10% off when you add discount code TONIES at the checkout. Works out roughly £12 per Tonie. Also if you hang around on the website long enough, they normally have a pop up for an extra discount code which is stackable, it's only 3% or something but better than nothing!

Definitely vinted! I told my daughter not to buy any manga, give me her wishlist and I got most of it for a fraction of the cost. I also got plushes, figures and all sorts of other merch. Also great for games, just set up alerts for everything you are looking for. It takes time but bargains are to be had! I got dd the full set of demon slayer, my hero academia, chainsaw man, Tokyo ghoul for £120. Considering the books are £8.99 each normally and she got over 70 books and they were perfect.

Not sure how you feel about temu but I got lots of anime merchandise, themed d&d dice, bag and dice rolling tub, cat stuff and versions of games. Shein have good stuff, currently have a new attack on titan range. Aliexpress is worth looking at but you usually pay postage per item so can work out expensive. Shein and temu are great for kawaii, cute and Japanese themed items.

Another shop to look at is blippo they did lots of Japanese and kawaii stuff, not sure if they are still about. And claires have some cute kawaii stuff, very decent offers in their sales and generous loyalty scheme (birthday vouchers and £5 back every 2/3 purchases).

Sorry couldn't edit on the app but temu also do so many different pin badges, I got loads related to dds interests for under £1 each. And I got the cutest magnetic kawaii bookmarks, they were about £2 for 12. Basically once you start searching it will show you more stuff related to things you have looked at, just be careful not to fall down a rabbit hole and end up with a huge basket full! 🤣

Hello! I’m getting a birthday present for my DD’s friend. She wants the Elvis stitch Squishmallow. I’ve found it online at Jac Stores. Has anyone use them and can vouch for them?

@Didyeaye I haven't used Jac stores myself but they have an active Facebook page and a couple of stores from what I can see from a quick Google they are based in the Isle of Man! Lots of positive comments on FB too x

Jacs stores is in the IOM and they are brilliant. I'm local and use them all the time.

Another question for the experts here if I may…I managed to get a bargain paw patrol city rescue set from Amazon for around £8 only to find the matching vehicles can only be bought individually (like ‘lucky dip when you buy type’) or for silly prices on eBay. It’s for his bday so while I would normally buy second hand, the ones I have seen are chipped or obviously used.

Yesterday I overheard an M&S manager instructing staff to further reduce all sale stock to get it gone by tomorrow- i.e. today! I am taking that to mean that they are clearing away sale stock after today, so there may be some good final clearance bargains.

I picked up a candlestick for 99p yesterday and they had some nice glass decorations sets for £4.99 down from £15. Likely to be further reduced today - maybe…

The terracotta colour 99p candlesticks and the more tasteful blue metal ones for £2.99 would make good presents.
