I need to -

Wrap all the gifts apart from four 🙄 thankfully not loads.

Ice/decorate Christmas cakes

Find a gift for my dad - not a clue there 🤷‍♀️

Wrap dd2's birthday gifts & book piercing for that

Need to finish work first though - I am knackered & crawling to the end of term <BIG YAWN> & found out today I'm expected in for training days - why no-one's mentioned this in 2 years I do not know but I've never been in for them since taking the position 🙄

Tonight's job is clean my fridge ready for the BIG SHOP arriving tomorrow evening.

I need to get mums and brothers birthday presents and cards both birthdays before Christmas.
Then
Wrap all presents
Buy mum's, dad's and brothers presents (no idea what)
Food shopping.
School carol concerts ( my class and daughter's 2 different schools)
Try and keep the house sort of clean and tidyish

I also need to clean the oven, iron, mop hoover and dust.

I haven't finished buying presents yet let alone wrapped anything.

Cake to marzipan then decorate. Mince pies and gingerbread to make (gifts or I wouldn't bother). Haven't written any cards yet. Tree is up but not decorated.

I'd be better if I didn't feel permanently exhausted. I'm due in work for 8 hour days Thursday and Friday as well.

i’ve just been naughty and added 3 hours on to the cleaner on thursday for a deep clean to include oven! my present to myself

yes but you wouldn’t feel totally exhausted and i know what i would prefer from a loved one (them happy rather than exhausted and presenting me with a mince pie (when i love the marks ones anyway)

@velvetoptions luckily the oven is new and I’ve been very good about given it a quick clean regularly and have one of those liners in it. But I don’t blame you giving yourself a little gift, I’d probably do the same if I had a cleaner.
@JoyeuxNarwhal forget the cards, I haven’t bothered this year and no one seems to mind and I’ve only received about a dozen.

Have to write and send cards
find mum, Aunty, uncle and ss presents
clean everywhere for (very clean) visitors coming on 26th for ten days
make dog want to be good for them (he’s quite well trained but gets over excited with them and they have the world’s best trained dog)
oh and everyone is sick here except me (which I am grateful for, but horrible having everyone miserable)
food shop will be Saturday
Dh does cooking so I’m lucky there!

Loads and loads of cleaning
Wrapping up gifts for MiL, BiL and Foster son including his stocking gifts.
Our Xmas tree isn't up yet.
We only got some decorations up in sitting room yesterday evening.
Yesterday I spent about 4 hours wrapping up gifts for rest of family.

@velvetoptions you actually mis-read entirely - I have all the presents apart from four to wrap 🤷‍♀️ & I'm not stressing, just wondered what others had left to do.

Regarding the work thing - my correct contract has never been visible to me on our HR portal until today, after I'd been told I was expected in. It's been a wrongly uploaded temp one for almost 2 years despite repeatedly chasing it up. My only plans for Friday are getting my brows done & a trip to Costa with dd1 - had it been one of numerous medical appointments then it would have been tough 🤷‍♀️
