Thanks @bizzey for the title Xmas Grin

Hope all are well.

Anyone seen any Disney store codes? Typically my daughter has now asked for something, after I’m finished!

Elphaba17 · 09/12/2023 12:06

My fahlo bracelets arrived and they are really lovely, many thanks to the original poster. Annoying I had ordered one less than I thought I had so back to the drawing board for that present.

If anyone has a spare argos code I would really appreciate a PM. My microwave has decided to stop working at the worst possible time!

Elphaba17 · 09/12/2023 12:09

Amazon have Articulate for kids for £12.99 and the mini game version for £3.99. We love it here.

Can anyone recommend what would be a ‘trendy’ make/style of watch for a 14 year old girl?! Not a smart watch. Ive seen a Lipsy one recommended so that could be an option. I bet I’ve missed the fossil bargains!

I'd go Swatch. When DD and I walked past the Swatch shop last week (conveniently located next door to Claire's) her eyes lit up. I told her I used to collect them, so she's now nicked a couple of mine. Retro / classic styles are really popular atm.

Edited to add link to DDs favourite (classic rainbow style which has been around for about 25 years)

Fab, thank you both. I’ll check those suggestions out.

Mydoghealsmyheart · 09/12/2023 12:31

Does anyone have recommendation for a crossbody bag for a plus size person? My dm would love one but all the bags I’ve looked at have such short length straps that it would end up almost crossing her neck rather than her body!

IDontDrinkTea · 09/12/2023 12:35

Any tips on how to get Our Generation stuff any cheaper?!

I’ve pm’d you a code which should hopefully work for 10% off.

What kind of crossbody bag are you thinking of? The Uniqlo bag that everyone seems to have has a larger version that has an extendable strap that would work for plus size people https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/round-shoulder-bag-462420.html

Would Vera Wang Princess be suitable for 14 year old? She likes Victoria's Secrets etc

Yes for sure -my 15 year old DD loves it.

TK Maxx/ Homesense often have OG.

My bargain Bonne Maman advent calendar arrived a few days ago, so a couple of weeks earlier than they’d said - very pleased with it so thanks to whoever posted the price drop.

tealfluff · 09/12/2023 12:59

Although my rainbow bath bombs were cancelled by the seller - they tried to get me to cancel it first so they wouldn’t look like they weren’t fulfilling the order. Not impressed as they cancelled due to ‘no stock’ however they were still selling the item at that time, and still are, so a blatant lie…

I find Kipling bags good for long straps.

Does anyone have a matalan code please? 🙂

Mydoghealsmyheart · 09/12/2023 13:27

LonelyFlans A leather handbag style, if possible.

cymrumam · 09/12/2023 13:41

These hand warmers were recommended earlier in the thread. I've just bought them for DD who has Reynauds. They currently have 41% off taking them just under £20 which is pretty much their cheapest price according to CCC. They get great reviews and are also phone chargers.

Sorry about your daddy Bookbug. What about a recordable storybook? A family friend make one for my children when they were little. I’m not familiar with any particular brands but found this one when I googled.

I'm tempted by these for myself

Gardeners Almanac 2024 on a limited time deal on Amazon, reduced to £5.21 from £9.99. Great addition to the gardening kit that was posted recently for MiL.
