I ordered the Fahlo bracelets on 28th November and they arrived yesterday.
Very nice for the price (£14 for 3 with the glitch) but now I need nice bags to present them in.

CanIPutTheTreeUpYet · 07/12/2023 09:49

Fwiw, Fahlo gave me a refund immediately after sending them my order number (for a second time but I don't hold it against them, they just didn't notice it as the subject in the original mail). Anyone requesting cancelling with them, make sure it has your order number or name and email address used for the order, in the email. I've lost track of days but I think it was two days ago that I emailed in the morning and had the refund by evening so I wouldn't worry too much about not getting a refund/further issues just yet.

Thanks so much @Prizepudding. Used your code and just ordered some new Christmas jumpers for my kids. Such a treat!

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/12/2023 10:02

@Glitterandtinsel1 I used this eBay seller for dresses for Lottie dolls after a recommendation on here, she also custom made me a little top for one of my DD's teddy's after a similar request, might be worth an ask?

@Bryna if you can't find that exact one, primark had a very similar one in pink

IDontDrinkTea · 07/12/2023 10:05

Has anyone got an Argos code for an £100 spend?

ChristmasJumperz · 07/12/2023 10:07

Thank you for the coast walks that looks great for my folks.

Hobbycraft are offering me 25% off six different things as part of the club card. Mine includes Airfix, Fimo and sketching books. Don't know if it's different for everyone but worth a look if you are signed up.

Randomly discovered Ikea are doing an advent calendar offer (when you click on the Go Shopping part of the home page). Today it is £20 off a malm dressing table if any use to anyone and goes right up to 24th so might be worth checking back other days.

I've tried the BuyaGift Hello Fresh but it's not letting me add a code coz "exceptional price" - anyone know a work around?

OneHornedFlyingPurplePeopleEater · 07/12/2023 10:23

Has anyone else that's done the hello fresh box with buyagift worked out where to put the code?
I'm at stage of putting in card details, which is fine if I can put the code in after - but don't want to do it wrong and end up not being able to use the code!

I think it depends which box you select - the first one I tried had that message

ruralwanderer · 07/12/2023 11:13

My Fahlo bracelets just arrived and while they are lovely, it's disappointing that they don't come in little presentation boxes. I shall have to fashion some in order to gift them.

Saw Marvellous Maps advertised on Facebook and the Golden Bucketlist map looks like a fun gift. Comments said it was much cheaper on Dash4it. The website has good reviews so I've ordered one for DH.
It said spend £15 and get free delivery with FREESHIP. I tried the code with just £8.99 in my basket and it worked. Price seems good compared to WH Smith and others.

My Golden Bucketlist map just arrived. Very happy with it for £8.99.

Seems to have been stopped now “no further discounts available” in the discount code box for this now

Some experiences on Buyagift don't allow further discounts, so I think that's what you've found. Try another one?

MrsChristiesChristmasCake · 07/12/2023 12:03

@ruralwanderer I've had a dispatch notification (though Royal Mail apparently don't have the parcel yet) but fingers crossed mine arrive soon!

How big are the cards? I'd like to have a look for a suitable box 😊

I also ordered on 28/11 but nothing since. Coincidently, I just received a reply to my inquiring email only to say it takes 1-3 working days to dispatch. Well, I know that (from their website) but it’s been way past 3 working days now. Nothing on when it will actually be dispatched, let alone expected to arrive. Very disappointing! Those of you who have received their bracelets, were they shipped from the USA? Trying to gauge whether there is any chance now of them arriving before Christmas (if ever).

IWilloBeACervix · 07/12/2023 12:04

My fahlo bracelets just arrived too.

PoppyStan · 07/12/2023 12:07

My two Fahlo bracelet orders arrived today too - neither order was for one of the free ones though - one order placed just before that offer and the other order was placed on Monday just gone, so was very quick.

Shantotto · 07/12/2023 12:08

Any ideas on getting a discount on a Baby Annabelle? I had no idea they were £65 but I think my DD would really love one. She’s only got a few bits so far. And grandparents could get her some wee extras for it. Thanks!

Moppet5 · 07/12/2023 12:24

The Fahlo cards are 15.2cm x 10.2cm.
My order came yesterday, ordered 27/11, 2 bracelets one was free.
Thinking maybe C6 parcel boxes (large letterbox) 99p each on ebay, tied up with string or ribbon.
Unless anyone else has found something better?

ruralwanderer · 07/12/2023 12:37

@MrsChristiesChristmasCake my cards are 15cm x 10.1cm.

@g1c2d3 the return address on my envelope is in the UK and the postage label has UK account details on.

There are various companies selling gift boxes on Etsy and Amazon but I think I will probably fashion my own from card and put a pretty bow on it.

Brusselssprouts25 · 07/12/2023 12:41

My bracelets have arrived too! Ordered 27th I had free ones and a paid one x

hby9628 · 07/12/2023 12:50

My bracelets have arrived. Also orders on 27th. They are quite heavy they feel good. I think it will be a bit big for my 9yo but she will enjoy tracking her animal.

MrsChristiesChristmasCake · 07/12/2023 12:51

Thanks @ruralwanderer and @Moppet5 for the dimensions!

This seller is the loveliest lady and made lots of outfits/accessories for my daughters Lottie Dolls.

fishfingersandchipsagain · 07/12/2023 12:54

I’ve ordered these boxes for the Fahlo bracelets, and for some other things. Pretty good value at £4.29 for a pack of 10 (cheaper than the pack of 5) and I just managed to squeeze it in to this month’s subscribe and save, so was only about £3.60 after discount.
